10/09/2025: I’m honestly so disappointed. I grew up loving this place and was excited to come back after two years away, especially to share it with my fiancée for a date night. Unfortunately, the experience was such a letdown. We arrived around 6 and, while we were seated right away (the restaurant was completely empty), things quickly went downhill. I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese, a classic I remember enjoying here before, but it arrived watery and tasted more like an airplane meal than something you’d expect from a restaurant. My fiancée ordered the Alfredo, and as a chef himself, he immediately said it was definitely not Alfredo. He also noticed an unpleasant aftertaste he couldn’t quite place. The garlic bread with cheese was decent—probably the best part of the meal—but even the water tasted off, like dirt. On top of that, the service was almost nonexistent; we were barely spoken to during the entire meal. This used to be a place I loved, but sadly, it’s not the same anymore.

08/09/2025: Beautiful little restaurant, if it was judged on looks it would be 5 stars but unfortunately the food was not up to standard. The food looked the part but lacked the taste to match My fiancee ordered the Bolognese... They say you can judge an Italian on its Bolognese and it's true... Unfortunately, this didn't make the cut. It's taste was memorable but for the wrong reasons. Jar sauce was what came to mind. She mentioned that it reminded her of airplane food. I ordered the Alfredo... And well let's just say that it definitely wasn't an Alfredo. Overbearing after taste I could not put my finger on. Chicken did not taste the fresh, more reheated and dry. The garlic bread though did bring it back a point!! Very good The staff thought were very lovely! Could not fault them! Just the food needs working on

23/08/2025: After rather unpleasant experience in the Driver's pub nearby we went to find some properly cooked food. And oh dear! This place is awesome. One of the best Kebabs I ever had. Friendly stuff and reasonable prices! I wish we didn't waste time in the other place and came here right away. Absolutely recommend! Just look at this cake

12/07/2025: Love Miss Ellies, the food is top quality, be it for a take away or for a party the food is tasty and always greated so friendly by all the staff. Ypu have to try the Chicken Curry and cheese box...... simply delish!! Amy and the team work so hard and all the food is cooked fresh for each order.

27/09/2025: Lovely B&B right in the town centre. The staff, food and bar area are great and the rooms are clean and spacious but I only gave 3 stars because there was a smell of stale smoke in our room even though the rooms are non smoking. But I will definitely stay again as this can be fixed.
