02/08/2025: Always good food here along with good service. Place is always clean.

31/07/2025: Traveling back from the west we stopped here as the kids were hungry. It was busy enough, clean and tidy. Ordered meals, and they got the 2 kids burger meals wrong... That's ok, mistakes happen. Girl who came back with the 2 burgers was so unpleasant, it was as if we made the mistake! I ordered a chicken breast sandwich meal, it was cold and the chicken was like an old welly boot, it was so hard and chewy it was ridiculous, they smothered the burger bun with sauce so much that when I picked the burger up the whole thing came apart and the chicken fell onto the tray with a thud, chicken tenders were also very hard and cold, Chips were not nice at all, freezing cold and unseasoned. Definitely wouldn't be going near this place again. I wouldn't mind only I do like the supermacs in wexford and Waterford but I guess it's just this establishment that's the problem.

26/04/2025: I ate here last Saturday 19th April with two others..... At a previous time before I ordered a starter of beef strips and nasi goreng for main course....the starter was absolutely ridiculous...I'd would have received more meat on a chicken Wing. However I decided to give it another try again as the quality of food was always excellent. This time starter was baby back ribs and received 3....surely 5 would be average My wife ordered the chicken wings and received 4... we would have expected 5-6 I believe I paid €9.50 for the ribs which was absolutely ridiculous My wife was very disappointed with the quantity of wings received also. Main course was sizzling beef with fried rice and received what I would consider a very small portion of rice. My wife and I both ordered from the main menu not the early bird... and I would have expected more because of this. We were very disappointed with the meal and it being a firm favourite to go with the family occasionally. The staff were lovely and professional and the quality of the food is excellent but sadly I feel that the quantity has reduced dramatically much to my disappointment.... Unfortunately I will be going elsewhere in future....

29/07/2025: Don’t buy from here they gave me an out of date orange juice from 2024 smashed up chips and poppadoms in the bag also small hairs in the korma absolutely disgusting

28/05/2025: Even though I don’t eat Indian food ,I was brave enough to accompany my husband who loves it …The place is nice and the staff are very polite ! Service was exceptional! And I will trust my husband’s opinion that food was absolutely amazing ! So if you like Indian food ,that’s the place to go !

10/03/2025: Staff members Aoife and Megan are always very helpful to my colleagues and myself, they go above and beyond for take away and dine in experiences. They make the best coffees in town it’s a very friendly atmosphere, very professional and great sandwiches :)

31/01/2025: Horrible experience, I was just passing through Clonmel, parked the car for a stroll and coffee, I regrettably chose here. After waiting at least 3 minutes or more with no staff member present, eventually a guy came out from the back, never said hello or sorry for keeping you, just nodded, I ordered a coffee, which seemed to be putting him out straight away he handed me a paper take away cup, when I asked to put it in an actual cup, he rolled his eyes and tutted at which point I told him it was ok and to keep it and I left. I walked a hundred yards up the road to another little coffee shop which was lovely, friendly full of chat and welcoming.

29/05/2025: On a recent 8-day holiday we stayed at the close-by Talbot Hotel in Clonmel. Instead of breakfasting at the hotel, we went to Esquires Coffee Clonmel. My wife and I had a breakfast of porridge, fruit and honey and a black Americano coffee each morning. Delicious and it set us up for the day. €10 each. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

16/03/2025: Ordered Niamh’s Vegetable curry & returned it as it was easily the worst excuse for a veg curry i ever encountered as a vegetarian. Almost no vegetables, mostly mixed peppers in a small bowl of sickly sweet chip shop curry sauce. The waitress agreed to replace it with the falafel & hummus salad bowl my partner was having. Eventually after my partner had finished her meal, the same waitress returned & presented me with a grilled chicken salad. We paid up & left.

24/07/2025: my first time here was very positive! The staff were lovely and I personally really loved the decor of the restaurant. It's not too big of a place but I enjoyed the coziness. There wasn't much of a wait either as the food came quickly

21/07/2025: Grilled steak chunks in Miso soup is a big no and the soup is definitely not made fresh. Was recommended by the staff although I requested Pho soup .. for 18€ a bowl absolutely would not recommend.. the other entries i noticed at nearby tables looked quite good however the restaurant is a dim light unkept hole in the wall...

15/06/2025: From the moment we walked in the door we were treated poorly, The man at the counter was rude and nearly sent us away as we arrived at 9 and it says online that they close at 11 o clock he didn’t want to seat us because he said they close at 10 o clock, as we got seated he rushed us with our order(didn’t even get a chance to look at the menu) before he came over, as we were leaving at 10 past 10 he was still taking orders over the phone and seating people, the food was alright but would not recommend if you appreciate good customer service

26/05/2025: I have to say the quality has really declined from my first post, the recipes have changed, the portions are getting much smaller while the prices have gone right up, While the food is still nice it's nowhere near the quality it used to be, it's no longer great value

14/09/2024: Sold us gift vouchers day before they closed permanently, never told us yet took our money , absolutely disgraceful behaviour shame on owner . Closed without any information and hasn’t reopened, tried using vouchers in their other establishments but they won’t accept them Con artists at the finest

13/07/2025: Service is probably the worst I've ever experienced lately. At first I thought the issue was Just Eat. But it transpires it was McDonald's Clonmel itself. I ordered a delivery at 3.48pm. 90mins later at 5.20pm our food arrived freezing cold. Not just Luke warm but freezing. Even the outside of the food bag was cold to touch. They made our food on time and left it sitting on the window in the restaurant for over 1hr. That's where they leave all deliveries. Not under a heater, on a cold window. I got a refund issued from just eat and I drove down to get new food. When I arrived they didn't even apologise etc. I got my fresh food drove home and opened the bag to see that part of my order was missing. I drove back down again told the guy at the till that I'm missing nuggets from order 97 and he just grabbed nuggets and a napkin and went to hand them to me. I had to ask for a bag! I got no apology or anything at all for having to make 3 attempts and drive down 2 times to get food. Food is always missing from orders and always cold. They also push out delivery orders and make customers that are in the shop wait ages. I've waited up to 30mins for food in there recently while they pile up deliveries on the window. McDonald's shouldn't take more than 5-10mins for sit down or take away.

06/07/2025: This place is a bit too busy at times and can be quite expensive compared to alternative places. Tends to be a lot of groups of loud kids on the weekends

28/05/2025: We ordered the fried chicken breast and fish and chips. Both were made to order and served hot and crispy. The chicken and fish tasted fresh and flavorful. The batter on the chicken was a bit salty, but I personally enjoyed the taste. The chips were on the thicker side and not very crispy—probably due to their size. Overall, a satisfying meal!
