05/01/2026: Visiting friends for Christmas Eve and beyond. Dropped in waiting to be picked up. A sure wasn't the place buzzing with the time of year. The staff working their socks off. Then someone ordered a hot whiskey, for the laugh. That wasn't served. I got chatting with the locals. I could have stayed forever ♾️. I accused a young fella of calling me a dirty old hoor. He was ordering Coors...

30/12/2025: Good grub, staff are attentive and friendly.

03/01/2026: Ordered a spice bag from here a few years back and in the middle of it I found some already chewed chewing gum and when I complained the owner shouted at me on the phone not believing me and now to this day will refuse to deliver to my address, even to different family members. Very unfair behaviour for something that was completely their fault.

01/12/2025: Spice bags are great. BBQ RIbs are very good and Bang Bang sauce is class.

20/07/2025: The locals are rude and ignorant was at a Christening and the were rude to the children who were just having fun will never be in side there doors again

08/04/2026: It's one of the nicest McDonald's I've been to. Staff are good and the food is made fairly quickly. Its heaven compared to others in the area. Too bad there is no drive thru though.

05/04/2026: Great food. BYO. Free sambuka or Bailey's after meal.

29/12/2025: People are easily pleased, because the ingredients are tasteless, the manager doesn't understand what specials are on the window posters, and only one girl in there that knows how to use the till and make the pizzas, the rest of the staff are struggling If the ingredients tasted of something it would justify the cost, 1 medium 1 large + chips €51. It wasn't worth it Indian Ocean is better value Dominos has gone to the dogs .. The Dominoes have fallen...

23/12/2025: Disappointed, pizza not sliced properly, not one slice able to come free, watched through the observation window staff using handgel and not allowing sams to dry before working the pizza dough... Sanitizer flavoured pizza lovely

14/03/2026: Wait time wasn’t to bad but they brought out starters and mains at the same. Chips were dry and no taste. There dressed chip where nothing to be desired . There burgers where middle of the road. Would not be going back!

12/01/2026: Kebab was really bad, I got half meat chicken half doner. Doner was ok but the chicken was really soft and spongy and tasted like the rubbery pre sliced chicken you can get in packets in supermarkets. It was really bad. Chips were ok but also no seasoning. Haven't tried the other stuff on the menu but definitely don't come here for kebab.

03/11/2025: Appalling of how they treat greyhounds 💔 so many get injured. Why is this still legal? Its atrocious. All this place cares about is taking your money and not the welfare of the animals at all.

02/01/2026: Worst experience ever. Food was slow to come out. What you call a full irish I would not even call it a half. Toast was only hot bread. This was at Tesco Powerstown Clonmel.

12/09/2025: I used to like going to esquires…now I’m not too fussed these days. It all changed there when they changed their menu. They had the best sweet chilli chicken noodle salad and then for whatever reason stopped it and revamped the menu. I’m not inclined to order from there at all now. I do go in sometimes when a family member want a cuppa. That becomes another annoyance for me because any time I’ve asked for 2 teas, we get 1 pot. If I wanted 1 pot for two, I would have asked for it. This happened again to us yesterday but I was prevented from saying anything which I regret now. I did say something the first time it happened to me. I didn’t think I would have to be extremely exact in wording for what I’d want. Just a tip for esquires though, please ask the customer if they want 2 pots or one large if they’re ordering tea for 2. Some people might like their own pot for the price charged.

23/08/2025: Food was not worth the 30 minute wait. Would not recommend.

16/01/2026: Absolutely disgusting service from Panda Tree. We ordered delivery and waited almost two hours, but it never arrived. No explanation, no apology — just a complete waste of time. I will never order from this place again.

25/12/2025: We had a booking for Xmas eve for 10 people, when we arrived were told, no booking, even though we had to pay €25 deposit. We just went in an sat down as we were not taking no for an answer, ( big mistake we should have walked away) place was empty… ( on Xmas eve not good sign) first meal arrived, then half a meal arrived( this was after over an hour waiting) another20 min or so b4 any more food came out. Only one young lad serving, taking orders and cleaning tables. Crispy duck came out soggy, was told if I wanted crispy duck meat would also be crispy… not so… I’ve had plenty crispy duck with skin crispy and meat tender.. if u can’t make crispy duck it should not be on the menu… but eventually 2 of us had to leave as meal had not arrived ( they had appointment) waiting so long they had to leave. Food was tasteless … disgraceful service, and not getting meals all together was just terrible, I’ve never experienced such terrible service.. and food… will never be returning here, I was so disappointed as we had changed to here for family Xmas eve meal and it was ruined… I’ll be returning to my original restaurant for next year… would not waste my money going here they have no idea how to run a good business… all the while we waited for our food to arrive at the table the take aways kept coming out and we were left waiting… very badly organised… expecting one boy to do all the running around .. food was tasteless… and duck ended up being cremated…

29/09/2025: Visiting Clonmel as French tourists, we had a fantastic evening with the musicians last Monday. I recommend all French tourists visiting County Tipperary to make a detour on Monday evening to the Baker's Bar in Clonmel 😀! Atmosphere guaranteed.

28/09/2025: Live music and heartfelt ambience with a marvellous Helen who’s managing that place so lovely. It was my first time in Clonmel, hope it’ll not be the last. Barkers is a must. Period
