The best restaurants in Ardmore

10/06/2025: We were very excited to stay for my birthday, we received several pre stay emails enquiring whether it was a special occasion so were surprised that there was no acknowledgement of the birthday. Our first greeting was a porter telling us we must park underground as the hotel didnt accept liability for cars damaged in the carpark? The Michelin Star restaurant was fantastic, the view from our room terrific. Unfortunately, the rest left a lot to be desired. We were unhappy that there was an open packet of crisps under the locker and no tv channels available but the receptionist was not interested. The service in the bar was dreadful, both by the waitress and the Manager. We spent over €1600 for 2 nights and food and it just wasnt worth it. Ardmore is a beautiful destination, the restaurant is deserved of its Michelin Star but the hotel is definitely not worth the prices charged!

02/06/2025: We are there over the June BH weekend and all started very well. We were moved from a tiny table which we knew we were getting to a much larger one when that party didn't arrive, which was great. Food was lovely albeit extremely hot. The service was not great. There was one very lovely lady who seemed to be doing the work of 10 - bringing and clearing plates, cleaning tables, taking orders. Trojan and very friendly and accommodating. The problem was that it seemed like all the rest of the staff were standing chatting than doing much helpful. When we asked for the bill - from the great lady - we were waiting 20 minutes and had to ask twice more for it. When I could see it was finally prepared and ready, one of the other staff was walking towards me and turned around and started chatting some more to one of the others before finally ambling my way....
