20/04/2025: This is a charming little cafe in the heart of Mullingar. It's a perfect place to take a break and offers a nice, comfortable atmosphere. While the food, including options like turmeric milk, soup, wraps, ciabatta, and pastries, is decent, the real draw is the sheltered and inviting ambiance.

Many other places give you a bit more bang for your buck. Oh and, staff did seem in a bit of a hurry to get on. I get it was busy but...

26/03/2025: This is a smashing little place in Mullingar. It’s open Tuesday to Saturday but one of the best things is that the breakfast menu is available all day. The choice of breakfasts and other food is extensive, creative and delicious. As a committed carnivore I opted for a change for a “flat belly”(if only!) vegetarian breakfast. It was substantial, well presented and cooked and really delicious. Vegetarian food prepared and presented like this is what will help people reduce their meat intake, if that’s what they want to do. My quibbles? The tea is awful, weak and has the taste and appearance of old-style airline tea, have they not heard of “Barry’s”? The service could be warmer, more pleasant, less perfunctory, a smile and hello does wonders for the reputation of a place. The atmosphere could be improved by making the restaurant a bit warmer and brighter. Don’t let the quibbles out you off, though, the food is first class.

21/10/2024: Local establishment steeped in history. The long narrow bar is perfectly designed for the local clientele but never fear this is a warm and welcoming place. The whiskey selection is epic and The beer garden is a paradise. My dad is on the wall. Beside the elephant.

20/04/2025: Absolutely spectacular. We came in on short notice and despite being busy they managed to seat us with no problems. All of the staff are absolutely lovely, and our server Ania was beyond fantastic and friendly, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the whole meal. The food itself was fabulous and the portions were huge. Absolutely recommend this place, we will be back for sure.

13/06/2024: The owner and workers were really sweet! We’re from out of town and stopped here across from our hotel and we truly enjoyed it, the sushi rolls were so big! I wish we could eat here all the time! The only reason we spent more was because we had more people, but it was very reasonably priced!

28/05/2024: the best place for sushi in mullingar i go here all the time. the service is always great and the sushi is always fresh, have never been disappointed. also great prices i can get so much and don’t have to spend too much money. would highly highly recommend!!!
