The best restaurants in Mullingar

11/07/2025: Food was adequate and nice. There was plenty of meat in the dish. Service was very good and friendly.

29/06/2025: On our way to the west coast, we wanted to stop for a bite to eat. When we asked if they were still serving food, as it was already quite late in the evening, the bar staff rudely asked us, "What do we want?" without even looking at the menu. It was then slammed very unkindly onto the counter. To our surprise, they only had pizza on the menu. Since we had no appetite for that, we left without eating.

30/05/2025: After a long work day in Dublin, I stopped in for a drink while waiting for my lift home. I’m not a local but live outside Mullingar. In short, don’t come here if you aren’t known to the bar staff or owner. Despite 3 staff on, I was ignored and had to move twice to even get served. White Wine was corked and warm and it felt so unwelcoming I left my drink and walked out. Ended up in Canton Casey’s across the road where the service and welcome was warm & genuine. Not sure why some pubs in Mullingar are like this but it’s embarrassing and unnecessary. Wouldn’t recommend to non locals or tourists at all.

12/05/2025: Ferociously overpriced! Over €32 for vegan breakfasts with 2 coffees that weren't filled up! This place looks real cool tbf and the food was good but at that price..? Many other places give you a bit more bang for your buck. Oh and, staff did seem in a bit of a hurry to get on. I get it was busy but...

20/04/2025: This is a charming little cafe in the heart of Mullingar. It's a perfect place to take a break and offers a nice, comfortable atmosphere. While the food, including options like turmeric milk, soup, wraps, ciabatta, and pastries, is decent, the real draw is the sheltered and inviting ambiance.

27/05/2025: Be mindful that when someone comes to your restaurant looking to book a restaurant for an event, your job as a manager or owner is to kindly share the options, not to start interrogation on "where are you from"? While looking from head to toe and showing how annoyed and busy (not one consumer inside) you are. This is not how consumer service in Ireland works. I'm speaking on behalf of someone who isn't Indian and had that experience. People, if you want customers, please act accordingly. Thanks #submitting on behalf

05/05/2025: Food is not bad We ordered butter chicken and butter naans. Surprisingly Naans are good. We ordered chicken 65 starter and it's good. Overall not bad at all. People who prefer mild taste will like it more.

07/06/2025: I dont usually leave bad reviews but feel like i have to this time!! Im a regular here for takeaway coffee but we decided to sit inside and enjoy a coffee. To my digust a woman with 2 dogs came into the shop and proceeded to sit down and let her 2 dogs sit up on the table and then let them drink from the small jug of milk on the table!! Totally disgusting and both staff seen this whilst passing her and said nothing. I have no problem with dogs in a shop but up on tables that people are eating and drinking from and then letting the dogs drink out of the jugs and cups, says alot about the hygiene of this place! We wont be coming back here again, we dont usually sit in as the place isnt the cleanest and tiolets filthy but this experience has sealed the deal for me and wont be back even for takeaway coffee!

24/07/2025: The salad bowls, the juices, the paninis. Yum! Is probably the best way to describe the juice zone. I have never regretted having lunch here.
