25/09/2024: Amazing quality food, service is very good also, staff very friendly. The only two things I would change there is the background music, for something more relaxed and classy, like instrumental classic music for example, and also some colour to the tables, like a center piece with flowers, even fake ones, to give some more visual appeal. These are just small details, but we will be back for sure, and very soon.

15/11/2024: Wanted to be able to say fantastic, unfortunately not. The pasta with breaded chicken chriozo & shrimp, doesn't work. Not for me. Sad
10/11/2024: Eleven of us ate last night at Oscars for a birthday celebration. Nice venue excellent food and pleasant floor staff. Unfortunately the Owner/Manager let his restaurant down badly. A mistake was made on delivery of one of the dishes and the waitress was dealing with it efficiently but the owner/manager confronted our diner and accused him of ordering the wrong dish in an aggressive tone! The bill arrived and one of our diners was charged for one main and one starter instead of two starters .The owner/manager arrived and said “she got a main I counted sixteen prawns on the plate! I counted them myself”
The final part of our celebration was to ask the staff to bring cupcakes purchased by us to the table and present them to the birthday celebrant. This was done nicely by the staff but the manager applied a 33 Euro cake service charge without informing anyone this would apply in the first place I regret to say the Owner/Manager was rude and abrupt and not interested in resolving small issues in a polite and professional manner. We left having spent over €500 wondering how this Owner/Manager had behaved on the night!

20/10/2024: Fantastic food, but they can sometimes forget to put all the food in the takeaway bag. When you live 7 miles away, you're not going to head back for the missing item.

17/11/2024: Myself and my wife went in to kill a few minutes before going to our destination. The lounge is quite large, plenty of screens and a pool table. Drinks were good and we were given complimentary food for free. Really lovely staff. We will be back!!

02/11/2024: The food was ok. We are there during the autumn term break so two tables were parents with children. While radio music played over the cafe's speakers, a young boy entertained himself by use of his phone at full volume. A baby, barely 5 months old was exposed to a children's entertainment piece at full volume on a mobile phone. For lunch guests looking for a peaceful eating environment... This was not it, it felt more like a fast food chain seating area.

28/11/2024: JP's Steak House I was extremely disappointed with your service and response when we complained about you forgetting a starter and arguing at our table about the complaint that we made about the steak that was served. The complaint was made after the first bite of your €38.90 T-Bone was eaten. Leaving a customer with a legitimate complaint about the food you served with the feeling of being ganged up on by 2 staff members who stood over them at their table is absolutely unprofessional. Your statement that ‘everybody else’s was fine’ was ridiculous. Our steak was not. You were condescending and rude and it was not appreciated.

24/07/2024: In this day and age, any food premises should have separate toilets for men and women. The bathroom floor was also soaking wet due to a leaking bathroom tap, particularly dangerous for elderly people. A thimble full of milk was provided for use for a party of 3 people.
