The best restaurants in Mullingar

12/09/2025: I had a fantastic experience at Spice India, Mullingar. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff were very attentive and made us feel at home right away especially Natasha. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, making it a great spot for both a casual meal and a special night out. Highly recommend

31/08/2025: Normally get takeaway from here but decided to dine in the restaurant and we were blown away with the food and service. Highly recommend.

24/09/2025: I got a takeaway aromatic duck & yuk sung, both were delicious. The service was very prompt but server was not very friendly. Plenty of parking outside. Can't comment on restaurant atmosphere as only picked up takeaway.

29/08/2025: We ate here recently had a nice meal. We had the duck dishes, crispy shredded chicken which was unusual but tasty. Staff friendly

10/09/2025: So we didn't get the drinks with our meal and when we mentioned that to the member of the staff she pointed the finger in to the fridge at the entrance of the restaurant for us to take it from it.I travel half of the planet and I never see that lack of service in my life...never again

25/08/2025: Found the iconic Cottage Bar very friendly, good atmosphere, class pint of Guinness, excellent bar tenders and succulent food - I'll be back...

26/08/2025: Brilliant vibe as soon as you walk in. Love the old dark saloon style interior. Barmaids are really lovely and polite. The man at the carvery is a gentleman, even tho there was no pasta at the carvery..he made up some pasta for my son. Really lovely food, service, and good people running the place. 10stars highly recommend

20/09/2025: I was in tonight with my wife and we had pasta pizzaiola and pollo schnitzel and deserts which were fantastic. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Highly recommend and we will be back.

25/08/2025: Probably the worst SuperValu in Ireland’ Make sure you are checking your receipt as prices from the shelf are not matching prices from the receipt’ also a lot of outdated products on the shelves and in the fridges. Very bad management one of the worst i have ever seen 😔’

23/08/2025: We went to Belly Café for a birthday and ordered the huge, thick American-style pancakes – absolutely fantastic! 🎂 Without us even asking, they came out with candles for the birthday child, which was such a thoughtful touch. Even though the place was very busy, the whole team was incredibly friendly, professional, and always served us with a smile. The food was so excellent that we had to come back a few days later – again, our expectations were exceeded. Even special requests (like an extra-spicy steak sandwich with a separate sauce) were taken care of perfectly. The portions are big, everything is freshly prepared, and every dish we tried was outstanding. A very special thanks goes to Amy, who was truly the heart and soul of our experience – warm, attentive, and simply wonderful. The entire team was on point and super efficient. If I lived in Mullingar, I’d be here at least once a week! 👌

12/08/2025: Impeccable as always. Great service - always courteous and efficient. Food was delicious - teens shared the full breakfast, which was massive and delicious, with homemade rosti. I had my usual avocado smash, still the best you'll get in the whole of Ireland.

28/09/2025: Food, service and atmosphere were okay, but overall the price didn’t match the quality. Staff could pay a bit more attention to the room — for example, we asked for the bill but had to remind them again before we could pay. An average experience.

08/09/2025: Pleasant staff. Menu has a large range of options and choices. Was there on a Thursday evening in August, and was very quiet.
