The best restaurants in Gorey

27/09/2025: The restaurant offers several vegan options, of which I chose the pizza. It was one of the best vegan pizzas I've ever had, topped with high-quality ingredients! The prices are on the high side, and the noise level was relatively loud. The service team was very attentive.

07/08/2025: Need to amend menu, 2 dishes ordered supposed to be served with sticky rice but both came with plain basmati rice which didn't compliment the dishes, other dishes quite nice

26/06/2025: A staple of Gorey’s cafe scene. In recent months, I’ve found the cafe only getting better. Great service, friendly staff, and really tasty food. Their €12 meal deal is really good value Monday - Thursday.

23/04/2025: Unfortunately it's a 1* all round the food was awful. Had to throw it in the bin. It was the takeout I've ever eaten. Chicken was like a combination of rubber and hard plastic. The chicken balls must be battered in concrete. The chow mein is incredibly bland. Overall all good items we ordered tasted off. Avoid this place unless you want to fill your bin.

07/09/2025: Google says the place is open 7 am on Sunday. We arrived at 7.55 and it was closed. Ladies inside gave a sign to wait for 5 min outside (it was raining, so we left...). Perhaps worth updating the opening hours.

27/07/2025: What a chipper. I must say, absolutely astonishing. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, absolutely breathtaking. To begin, the chicken fillet burger that I consumed was second to none. Pure, real, juicy chicken breast sandwiched in two plump burger buns, along with all of the toppings, quite impressive how they managed to create such an incredible taste. Moving on to the atmosphere, pure joy and love in the building. I could not have felt any more at home when I stepped foot into fratellis, surrounded by the love and care of such incredible people. Lastly, the service; 10/10. The workers were incredibly helpful, especially young Alberto behind the counter who took my order and made my food, what a hard working, generous and kind man. All in all, what I’d like to say is fratellis is a must visit chipper in gorey town, best around. 🥰😁👍
