16/12/2024: There is a high variety of flavors of ice creams and bubble teas in Magic Bubble, as well as the variety of toppings: all of which are lovely. The drinks are fantastic and the staff are kind and friendly. I frequent this place regularly and would highly recommend!

31/01/2025: Picked the restaurant using apps recommendation having never dined in Gorey before. Restaurant was empty when we arrived but quickly filled up and I can see why. Menu was excellent, food was as described we really enjoyed our rib eye cooked as ordered and my lamb was sublime. Staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient, could not say a negative word about our experience.
01/10/2024: Staff very friendly. Service was fast but didn't feel like we were being rushed, quite a relaxed atmosphere. Food was lovely, albeit the portions were not very big and expensive for what you get but main reason for losing a star is, despite saying vegetarian/vegan options available there was one main, a stir fry with a bit of rice which was also vegan but there were no vegetarian starters, I was able to get one adapted by asking for no parmesan cheese, which is not a vegetarian cheese, and they obliged but overall disappointed with there being no choice. We did not get a dessert as none of the options really appealed to us. It also wasn't marked what ones, if any, were vegetarian, cheese cake, trifle and tiramisu being three of the options that sometimes contain gelatine.

17/01/2025: I visited here with my wife last week while house hunting and we came across this gem. I got the lasagne and she got the toasted panini and they were great. The lasagne was super tasty and I want to have some more. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and were super helpful to my wife with questions she had about toppings. Will be back one day

Afternoon Tea At the Ashdown Park Hotel

06/03/2025: I would like to thank Sinead and her team for a wonderful stay here at the Ashdown Park hotel - I have been coming here with my little boy for a many years now and the rooms are to a very high standard and cleaniness is impecciable, thank you. 12/01/2025: We went to Aroy D last night for the first time and we loved the food.
Highly recommend the pork gyoza and prawn tempura starters
We had stir fry sweet and sour chicken with noodles and Beef yellow curry with jasmine rice.
Everything was delicious. The noodles were light and fresh and not greasy.
We are looking forward to returning.

04/01/2025: What a treasure trove of varied items from home pantry staples to diy, garden furniture, decor and more, Spice is always a spot to try for that item you can't seem to find anywhere else. Their hardware electrical section is very well stocked and reasonably priced compared to other local hardware shops sometimes. Great cleaning supply aisle. Garden section also good too. Seasonal products stocked here so aways worth a look to see whats new.
03/12/2024: What can I say only, you have the most professional, kind and caring staff! I really wanted the blowup Christmas Santa sleigh and reindeer but there were none left, the lovely girls on the till promised me theyβd contact me if the lady who had put the last one by, didnβt show up. I got a phone call that evening to say they had searched high and low in the warehouse and found the very last one. To say I was ecstatic! Those girls need a pay rise! Staff like that are hard to find πππ thank you so very very much

in the morning pizza was here in 15mins & staying in the amber spings hotel and the pizza was cooked to perfection π absolutely delicious
28/12/2024: Ordered a hot dog and cheeseburger meal, was asked what drink I wanted at the counter. Total came to β¬13, when I received my order and arrived home there was no drink or chips in the bag and the "cheeseburger" was a plain patty between two buns. And as for the hotdog, I was given a battered sausage!!! Terrible attention to orders. Have to give one star as the chips were excellent but I wish I had my own to eat and not my friends :((
