09/11/2024: The SPA in this hotel gets 10/10 from me And the rest is a bit worse. In general, the hotel looks great inside, I went to a wedding and on the good morning there was a crowd of wedding guests with cigarettes and alcohol at the main entrance (the hotel has two places for smoking cigarettes), which scared me (the hotel has two places to smoke cigarettes), then there were guests running around the entire hotel in a drunken state, which is not cool for other guests. . The hotel restaurant has disgusting food, I ordered wings crisps and got them, but they were either made two days in advance or from a bag for 10e. When I asked the waiter whether they were fresh or frozen, he hesitated to answer, so my friend came and said they were fresh. (We know how it was) for the second course I ordered a steak and I got the steak. It was the only one that was good because the side dishes, such as fries, were also from the previous day, as well as the arugula, disgusting, no tomatoes or onions. Average service. I don't recommend it. The middle room would need to be renovated and the bathroom thoroughly cleaned because while taking a shower I was repulsed by the crap coming out of the shower head. I got a room overlooking the street, but unfortunately you can hear everything at double volume. Plus, close to Aldi and Lidl.

05/11/2024: What can I say, the pictures on Instagram, website etc, are nothing like the actual Hotel, which is well worn, we had vouchers for two nights dinner. The first, in the bar was 0/5, the description on the menu didn't match the actual food, which was poor. The pool area was well worn and the water gave me a rash on my leg! The meal in the 'posh' restaurant was 1000 times better. Should have picked this for both nights hindsight is a wonderful thing!

25/11/2024: There was loads of parking at the side of loch Gorman arms because of the time 5.30 and day Monday. The service was very good and the dinner itself was lovely, the cheesecake wasn't that nice and the cappuccino was nice the first few sips but got cold quick and wasn't drinkable. The value was good. To sum up the day the service and dinner were worth going there for the desserts and coffee I should of just left.

23/11/2024: A lovely place for coffee or food break, with good quick and kind service :-) didn't use the hotel services, but I bet it's good :-) and now.... you can spend great festive time with friends and family, at this lovely place :-) have I mentioned nice staff? :-) very nice helpful smiling staff... a smile can do magic ;-) the espresso tastes better then my last visit :-) and new nice glass espresso cups :-) and the xMas decorations is lovely :-)

26/11/2024: We ordered hot food, sandwich platters and a cake for an event recently from Joannes in Gorey and the whole experience was fantastic. From start to finish Pat was a pleasure to deal with. We even got the food delivered to the venue and all of our guests were raving about the food there wasn't a scrap left! We will absolutely be returning and recommending to all.

07/11/2024: Quick and simple lunch: soup and brown bread for a reasonable price. The soup was hot and tasty, but the bread was dry and crumbly like gluten-free "bread".

07/12/2024: I was asked recently if I only post negative reviews!!!………imagine! I have been a customer of Wild Spice for many years and can only highly recommend that you try their food. The staff are professional and friendly and the kitchen team put the C in consistency. The food is delivered every time to the same standard and that is something to brag about. I have noted some comments about the delays in food. I remember once making the same comment about another restaurant and asking myself would I be prepared to wait for food of this standard. For that restaurant, it was a resounding NO. But for the food presented by Wild Spice I would sit there for hours. Yes, this is a very busy take away restaurant, why?……because the food is fantastic. So give them a go, and allow some leniency if it is a very busy night…….it will be so worth it. Continued success Wild Spice…….I applaud you.

09/11/2024: Bad service as usual. Ordered takeaway from website, got confirmation email, all fine until my husband rang 10 mins after collection time to check order as they couldnt find it. He arrived home a while later with food but someone elses order. They did ring us but to offer to deliver ours but it had already been at least half an hour and would probably take them at least that to get food out to us again as we live 20mins from town. Similar experiences year ago so stopped going here, learnt our lesson again.
