The best restaurants in Gorey

10/03/2024: Hadn't enjoyed Chinese food for years...this is non greasy, packed with flavour and amazingly fresh ingredients...best I've ever had :)

02/03/2024: The delivery was an hour and fifteen minutes late!! Just Eat said the food was delivered when it wasn’t. Called twice to chase the order.

24/08/2023: “do not ring door bell call me when you arrive” (proceeds to ring door bell 100 million times and wakes everyone up)

27/07/2023: Biggest, tastiest big mac style burger I've ever had. Chips unreal. Unfortunately the battered sausages weren't great.

28/03/2024: Awful ordered previously food was lovely but last night when ordered food was all cold said no chilli sauce re used nam bread had chilli sauce scraped off and reused ordered cheese nam as extra didn't arrive either chips was not fresh as re cooked as cold and hard and order was half hour late won't we going here again don't deserve any stars 😢

03/02/2024: Go there every time I’m in Gorey food is always brilliant. I wasn’t a fan of the noodles and said it to them they made them to my liking including coming out before packing it away to confirm it was the way I liked. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone ! Sweet & Sour crispy chicken is the best!

18/03/2024: Fast service and delicious food. Plenty of gluten free options also. Could provide water at the table but otherwise amazing. Five stars 😁

16/03/2024: Attended ECO this evening at around 6pm. Lovely menu lots to choose from. I ordered chicken skewers and my partner had the katsu curry. Pleasant service and waiters were friendly. Didn't have to wait too long for food to arrive. Food was tasty but over priced for the standard of food being served. Lacks creativity on the plate and unimaginative. A long strand of hair was sticking out of rice when food arrived to the table. Waiter was apologetic and offered a 20 % discount. Not likely to visit eco again.

21/12/2023: We got 3 kid pizzas 3 chips an adult pizza and carbonara. To start with the menu online is very different than in the restaurant. Almost everything that we had picked online they didn’t have on the menu. When I mentioned this to the server she said they change there menu every 3 months or so but the menus that we where given looked years old, tattered and torn. The special for the kids menu online is also not available in the restaurant as well as the kids carbonara. The brisket pizza has completely different toppings on their menu as a pose to what they have online. The servers payed no attention to our table, at no point through the dinner did they approach to see if we needed anything even after I had to try grab them twice for condiments. Our table by the end was full of empty glasses and pizza boards and not cleared even after they took our dessert orders and walked away. We had to ask them to remove them as the they gave us our deserts. We were a party of 5 placed at a table for 4. We had visited this resultant 3 years ago and it was amazing. While the carbonara was beautiful the pizzas seemed reheated. Our order arrived at our table in less than 10 minutes and the pizzas looked and tasted like they were prepped as margaritas and when toppings are ordered they place them on top and reheat the pizza. None of the topping had any kind of crisp to them as they should if they were cooked fresh with the pizza. Safe to say we will not be returning on our next visit to the amber springs hotel.

02/12/2023: Food was delicious, I can't fault the service and it was very busy. I can be quite fussy in restaurants but have no complaints. Also have an autistic child who can be fussy but he sat and never stopped eating his flat bread and goujons. Server's were all lovely and couldn't be anymore helpful.
