01/07/2025: For a fast food place the service and the food was equally wonderful. Great spot for something quick and easy to eat in or take out.
29/06/2025: I ordered two chicken wraps and had to return them due to how poorly they were prepared. They were so sloppily assembled that they completely fell apart, making them almost impossible to eat. A wrap, by definition, should be properly wrapped to allow for convenient, mess-free eating — this was a complete mess.
When I politely requested a refund, the chef responded in a very unprofessional and rude manner. If someone claims to have been making wraps for 40, they should certainly know how to wrap one properly so that the contents don’t fall out.
The whole experience was extremely disappointing — both the food quality and the customer service. I cannot recommend this place based on what I encountered.
That was not my first but definitely last time.

24/04/2025: Horrific. Truly. Cold bleak setting that feels really unwelcoming and cheap. Food was utterly tasteless and we left as soon as we could. Wont be eating on site for the rest of our stay.

31/05/2025: I have to give the service 1 star due to the lazy attempt at a chow mein I've ever seen. The food is incredibly bland minus flavor didn't think that was possible. It has significantly changed, used to be beautiful food here, the quality now is abysmal. Will not be back.

12/06/2025: Very disappointed! Went in at half five and everything had been but away and wiped down. The hours say they close at 7pm and if that is not the case the hours need to be updated.

12/10/2023: Haven't been in Gorey in ages, met a friend, walked past this place and decided we would try it out. Decor nice but could do with more soft furnishings to help with noise. Quick seating and taking orders however food was very slow in coming, we had to ask twice for it. When it did arrive, they forgot the chips so they came another 10 mins later. Food was good but nothing suburb. However when came to pay was a bit shocked, Got two sausages (which were a bit well done), three eggs, beans and toast with a can of drink and it was around 18e which i thought was a bit steep. So dont think will be going back

13/07/2025: Feeling peckish on a Monday evening decided to go here for dinner. Food was gorgeous. Fish was in the lightest batter 😋 Steak was fantastic. It wasn't too busy got a table no problem for 5 people at 6pm. Staff in the dining room were like they didn't really want to be there 😔.
14/04/2025: 4 of us ate at the Rowan Tree restaurant at the weekend.
There was a large group in the restaurant when we arrived. We waited a good while to order and ended up ordering our drinks and starters at the same time.
The starters took 45mins to arrive and they were tiny.
When the main course arrived it was dried out after being left under the lights for to long. We also asked a young waiter for a jug of water for the table to be told "Can you order from someone else I'm busy!!!" SERIOUSLY what a response.
Didn't stay for dessert as everything had taken so long to arrive. Asked the same young man if we could speak to a manager and we were told "They are too busy with another function and can we call back tomorrow!!!"
Would not recommend and will not be back.
