12/06/2026: Best rib eye steak I've had in a long time

01/06/2026: There were four of us for dinner, and we ordered steak with sides. We started with homemade bread, served with a delicious orange butter and a pepper dip. This was followed by an amuse-bouche of beetroot and goat cheese, which was also very tasty. The steaks are the restaurant's signature dish, and the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. Each steak comes with a dip and a side dish. We had the potatoes and the truffle fries, and both were exceptionally delicious. The service was very attentive and courteous. We would gladly return.

27/02/2026: Not a great chipper, low quality with high prices. Kebab had little meat and too much sauce, there was an unpleasant "tang" from the salad or sauce. The chese burger was 4€ and tasted awful, low quality. A lot better chippers in Gorey, the kebab place at the top of the town is way better quality and value. The girl who served mé was nice.

18/01/2026: Well . Thinly sliced chicken in the noodle soup. More noodles than chicken. Not impressed compared to other places in town.

17/07/2024: Had carvery lunch in the ivy bar on Sunday, was beautiful couldn't fault it. However went for an evening meal later in the week, ordered a medium fillet steak and a Korean chicken burger, steak arrived went done close to burnt, chicken burger also burnt and missing half its toppings. Took over half an hour to come out, desperately slow. Eventually got the attention of a waiter who took it back and returned 10 minutes later to say they are making a replacement, the manager Eventually came down with a very fake apology, 25 minutes later a medium steak which was nice arrived, 55 minutes for a medium steak isn't acceptable, the staff on the till new asked had the manager mentioned a discount which she happened, so she had to check and the instruction to her was take off 4 euro off a 30 quid steak, not acceptable won't be back.

02/01/2024: The bouncers are good but the bartenders are awful. I tried to get a double vodka redbull for 14€ and the bartender said a triple is 10€ ended up it was only a single for 10€. The bartenders overcharge you aswell I got a few drinks and realized they charge 50c extra for each drink and they only half fill the vodka redbulls. They scam ye out of every cent you have. The bouncers are top class infairness I remember one night I wasn’t feeling well and one of the bouncers made sure I was alright and got me water and everything. I then went outside and got sick and the bouncers at the door had a laugh with me about.

31/10/2023: NOT OPEN 24 HOURS!!! I don’t know about the actual nightclub because I got very drunk and had to go home early on my birthday too! Haha would you believe it? But there was this one female bouncer named Katie who was an absolute star for looking after me! She went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and helped me get home along with my friends. She was so sweet and understanding. We definitely need more bouncers like her! I will be back because of her she is such a good bouncer and one to keep around. My friends said they enjoyed their night out and I enjoyed it myself but it’s not really worth the money and the service isn’t great. My friends said it was bad. €10 to get in. Nightclub only open till 2am. €16.50 for a double vodka, that’s more than dublin prices and the club isn’t even all that. Wouldn’t recommend the nightclub paddy blues bar is way better.
