29/06/2025: This is going to be a strange review because I actually ordered the wrong thing! I ordered a munch box which as we all know quite standard spice box kind of thing, absolutely not my thing at all, however everything in it was perfect cooked perfectly seasoned perfectly... If you're a spice bag/box person you should absolutely order a munch box. Of course I will order from here again after just moving to Gorey because of the standard of such a basic dish I'm very impressed. I will definitely order from here again but the food that I prefer.. I still don't know how it happened I'm not drunk I don't even drink... I somehow just ordered the wrong thing. But I do think this is going to be the best chinese takeout in Gorey ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

26/05/2025: Not a great end to my experience here. Started off well was good crack and good music all staff were nice as the night went on the place filled up with so many young people really young crowd very messy. I went out to the smoking area and when I tried to go back in a the door staff refused and the answer giving was the owner didn't want me back in no reason giving I said ok thank you. I honestly think they made some decision from the look of me since I'm not from that part of the country so I looked like a outsider that's all I could think off proper discrimination with no reason for.

27/05/2025: Loved this absolute gem in Gorey. The food is very impressive and the portions are huge. Great place for a work night out or to watch a match.

19/06/2025: I know this restaurant for many, many years and always very happy. Last time I gave even 5 stars because food was amazing, but toda I'm extremely disappointed 😞 Beef biryani doesn't even taste similar to the biryani. Is disgusting. Some Madras curry powder mixed with rice, meat and veg. It's bitter and doesn't taste like authentic food. Same with prawns pakora, it is just breaded prawn! Aloo bonda supposed to have some flavor and taste. Your website says "Aloo Bonda - Coated potato balls flavoured with a tempering of mustard seeds, curry leaf and peanut" - I didn't taste mustard seeds, curry leaves or peanuts, I got instead tasteless breaded potatoes with some tumeric. If you have a new chef please teach him how to cook authentic food and stop cheating people.

04/04/2025: Avoid this place altogether . I placed an order online from their own website using OrderYOYO. The money was taken out of my account only to then find out that the restaurant is temporarily closed, despite their website saying otherwise. All calls to the restaurant went unanswered. No refund given

14/03/2025: AVOID AVOID AVOID! Ordered online, money was taken immediately, but no food arrived. Drove into town to see that they were closed, despite their website, socials & Google Business Profile saying they're open. Tried multiple times to get in contact but have been ignored, despite them viewing my messages. Terrible service, feel like I've been scammed.

01/10/2024: Placed the order at 19:06, didnt receive until 9:05pm restraunt rang me at 8 to say he will be there in 25 mins, had to ring back well after 25 mins for an update, said he was on the way. Had to ring 2 more times for an update. It takes 14 mins to drive from where we live to the restraunt, it took him way longer than that..The only reason we ordered from here was because our usual chinese was closed due to electricity outage. When the food came we were tired & fed up at this stage and didnt even want to eat it when it came. For 36 euro for a 10inch spicy box, sauce and rice, the delivery time is shocking. I've read other reviews and seems to be a common issue with this place! The food tastes nice and decent enough, just the delivery time was really bad

13/08/2024: amazing tasting food lad honestly hit the spot perfectly and great portions and that curry sauce is to die for. waiter was lovely and so polite and helpful.
