29/04/2026: Visited Eddie Rocket’s on Parnell Street today and honestly had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had there.
While we were waiting for our food, we could see the chefs eating directly off plates — both ours and others that had been ordered after us. It was really off-putting and completely unacceptable from a hygiene point of view.
When the food finally came out, it didn’t improve things. The burgers were dry and completely tasteless, nothing like what I’ve had here before. The boneless wings were soggy and tasted horrible also. On top of that, the air conditioning was turned up so high that I was freezing the entire time. It made the whole experience uncomfortable, and the food went cold really quickly because of it.
What’s most disappointing is that I’ve been to this Eddie Rocket’s many times and always considered it one of the best locations. That’s why this visit was such a shock. Really let down this time.
26/02/2026: Very cool atmosphere but a little unfriendly staff and no vegan options… please make a vegan burger!

12/06/2026: Service is very slow if you going in make sure you give yourself plenty of time as you will be waiting for a while. One person on till but they have to make the tea and coffee and whatever other drinks you looking for.
29/05/2026: Terrible .. although few people in having breakfast most already had there food..and I waited 30 minutes for our food.. no apology no care about how long we waited.. food was basic but was 50 euros for 3 people.. place was dirty. And tables all full of dirty plates and rubb.ish. such a shame as used to be a good place in the past.. it needles a manager or some8 who know s how to run a place..plenty of staff but all over the place..

12/07/2026: Amazing sunny day spent in the outdoor seating area at Gough’s. The atmosphere was fantastic, and all the staff were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A special thanks to Ania, whose excellent service made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

15/03/2026: I ordered a sausage in batter and a bag of chips ,the food was Luke warm chips and sausage soggy it was disgusting €8.50 in the bin I will never ever cross that door again. They should be ashamed of themselves.

14/01/2026: Ordered one large xxl pizza with no extra topping on it so wouldn't take longer to cook also a vegetarian large pizza, when it came to collection I decided to check the pizza before I went and low and behold it was under done and gooey and wet all over. I told himself and he laughed and then put it back in, laughing as if I was being awkward. Obviously does not care at all about what he chucks out of the oven. So while waiting for that to cook longer my other pizza is now going cold. When trying to put it back in the box the male fella came over from handling money and decided to start putting his bare hands on my pizza. And this is after him passing two bottles of sanitising. I informed him of this and he just showed me the two bottles he never touched and proceeded to ignore me and just answer the phone. Ridiculous. (Update) 3 years on from this review and decided to try them again. It's even worse. Ignorant costumer care and gooey undercooked pizza. When you complain they just get smart with you

06/06/2026: Was asked to pay an extra €4 for delivery after already paying at checkout. We were also made to meet the delivery driver as he wouldn’t come up to the house to complete the delivery. Meaning we drove to collect our “delivery” order which we paid €8 for it to be delivered. The food was extremely poor quality, it was cold on arrival, and we waited over an hour for it to be delivered (including our drive to meet the delivery man). DO NOT ORER FROM HERE

30/12/2024: Very disappointed, I ordered a wrap with side salad. Received a wrap with a spoon of potato salad and a tidy amount of crisps.
Mens toilet was disgusting, not cleaned .
30/12/2024: Friendly welcoming staff, efficient service with delicious reasonably priced food. Would highly recommend the burger and pizza 👍

19/01/2025: Pretty disappointed to be honest have been a customer for years and tonight they cancelled my order said I was being refunded, I rang them they explained that an item wasn't on the menu ,I picked a different item and they said look you'll be refunded soon we will ring back and take payment ,10 mins later nothing in bank these refunds take 3_5 days

22/03/2025: Absolutely disgusting food the BBQ ribs weren't burnt very little meant on them they tried to cover it with sauce. I asked for a chicken chow mein and got chicken fried rice. and when rang to complain got a very rude person on the phone and the only thing they offered was prawn crackers will never be going there again and will advising people to stay clear off the place. Very rude staff and owner
