The best restaurants in Arklow

11/08/2026: I recently had my hen party in their function room. They accomodated us on short notice. They went above and beyond for us. Great facilities, great athmosphere. Up stairs had everything we needed like toilets a small beer garden and plenty of room for a band and even had a small dance floor. The staff were great and very friendly. We had the best night and there were no issues at all. Thanks to all of the staff at the harbour bar for been so accomodating. Much appreciated.

11/08/2026: Great function room and great atmosphere in bar area. So helpful and accommodating. Had a hen party in function room and it was perfect. Recently been done up and trying to bring a new crowd in again.

09/09/2026: Delicious 😋 so clean and great service

07/09/2026: Stopped at this takeaway by chance and were glad we did. Super fresh chips served quickly. We tried the onion bites as never heard of such before - they were delicious. Very good value for money compared to our usual chippy.

31/07/2026: I went there by accident. I did order two burgers and I was shocked. Those burgers were the best I got from a takeaway in Ireland. I paid 17 euros for two large burgers and they were 100%. Some sit-in burger restaurants have much worst burgers for much higher price. I will go back soon.

12/04/2026: Our family <3's Burger Hill for their burgers, chips, fish and kebabs. Everything is always great! Well recommended. Keep up the good work, BH!

12/08/2026: Sausage sandwich was decent for €5. Cappuccino for €4 was no better than service station coffee at a higher price.

17/07/2026: What a gem of a place. The breakfast bap was amazing. It disappeared before I even had a chance to take a photo!

29/08/2026: My first matcha ever (vanilla protein). Very nice refreshing drink. Nice cinnamon swirl, chocolate muffin, big chocolate cookie. My son said his hot chocolate was a little bit bitter. But still good.

16/07/2026: Great location and very clean, I was served by a woman called Dee or des i think, I didnt get a close enough look at her badge and I must say I haven’t received customer service like that in a long time, she was absolutely lovely and bubbly and put me in a great mood, Starbucks is very lucky to have staff like that

12/09/2026: Lovely food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. A special mention to Jamie, who looked after us all so well and made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

22/07/2026: Coffee was disgraceful burnt to bits with very little options, wouldn’t come here if only getting coffee

09/05/2026: Clean and tidy rooms and wonderful staff, old school country hotel.

08/05/2026: Always a great night to be had at the Bridge. Fantastic for Friday Karaoke!

04/09/2026: Smells awful in the Dine-in area at times. Salmon sashimi in poke served with remnants of skin, should have been prepared in a far better manner. Serving staff was nice and polite, the only good thing about the place.

29/08/2026: Great service and very good food.

25/08/2026: A little too close to other people for comfort

01/06/2026: I just love Costa Coffee. I just have the coffee.

29/06/2026: I’ve been ordering food from here for 2 years regularly. Best spice bag

27/05/2026: Very disappointed with the food we got this evening. We got a munchie box, noodles and a 4in1. The chicken tasted like it had been cooked in old oil that was used on fish. It actually turned my stomach. Takeaways are not cheap and we were very irritated at the quality of the food the last two times we have ordered. Will not be ordering from here again.

27/06/2026: Very disappointed with the spicy bag. The portion was extremely small and came in a tiny takeaway box/carton, not even a proper bag. For the same price I pay in other places, I expected a normal-sized spicy bag, but this was nowhere near enough. It feels unfair to charge the same price while giving such a small portion. The food itself may be okay, but the value for money is very poor. I would not order this again unless they improve the portion size.

12/05/2026: Incredible experience, great staff, great food - appears pricey, but you will get your money’s worth and then some. You will leave that place full to the brim. Highly, highly recommend.

29/08/2026: Best hamburgers in Ireland. Plain simple tasty delicious. Top ranked

29/04/2026: Visited Eddie Rocket’s on Parnell Street today and honestly had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had there. While we were waiting for our food, we could see the chefs eating directly off plates — both ours and others that had been ordered after us. It was really off-putting and completely unacceptable from a hygiene point of view. When the food finally came out, it didn’t improve things. The burgers were dry and completely tasteless, nothing like what I’ve had here before. The boneless wings were soggy and tasted horrible also. On top of that, the air conditioning was turned up so high that I was freezing the entire time. It made the whole experience uncomfortable, and the food went cold really quickly because of it. What’s most disappointing is that I’ve been to this Eddie Rocket’s many times and always considered it one of the best locations. That’s why this visit was such a shock. Really let down this time.

08/09/2026: VERY NICE STAFF, VERY CLEAN PLACE, TOILETS ETC.

03/08/2026: Everything for breakfast is deep fried even when I asked for poached eggs they were not good

02/09/2026: The staff are friendly and helpful and food is sensational

26/08/2026: My burger tasted like a saggy shit carved rooster
