17/11/2024: Beyond being close to the center, nice as a place and with affordable prices, the ramen I ate wasn't good at all and the broth seemed like the one that remains at the bottom of the pot when I prepare food for my dog.

09/12/2024: A bunch of us stayed over here from a Men's Shed in Dublin. Situated perfectly in the centre of Arklow town, clean rooms with great facilities. The staff are fabulous and very friendly, felt welcome from moment we arrived until the time we left. Had dinner and breakfast here and it was top notch and very well priced. Highly recommend.

27/09/2024: We stopped here on our way to Donegal. A bit off the main road, it's behind the craft artists area, but well worth the stop. Great sandwiches and coffee, and we got free soup which was amazing.
10/09/2024: I was there twice on very different trips.
Once with my wife during winter on a road trip and again with a large group of cyclists on a charity cycle across the wild atlant way. Both times the food was excellent, service was super nice and quick and I had a great time. Highly recommended.

01/12/2024: Ordered a Quarter pounder and chips here. I asked for louds of lettuce and bacon so i paid for it. I confirmed with the girl on the till and she said yes I'll make sure of it. When I got home the burger was mess, I even rang up after I was home to complain about the mess and she said she told the cook. . Was hardly any lettuce no bacon I paid for and the burger was a lump of mush as there was way to much sauce and everything was a Goowy mess. Obviously they take no pride in there food and don't want return customers complete mess. Never again.

Highly recommended the chicken rolls.
03/10/2024: Lovely restaurant. Had breakfast here. It was reasonably priced and food was good. Very clean. Plenty of parking outside.

31/07/2024: I would definitely recommend a visit to The Gin Mill.
Very clean... lots of tv screens if you like sport or current affairs.
But the real attraction is the staff behind the bar.... they were very nice and obliging.

12/09/2024: Visited Arklow today with our HYPOALLEGENIC Lhasa Apso and where looking for somewhere to eat. The tourist information office recommended this cafe so in we went to be met by the most rudiest person . She pulled a face that implied we and our dog were vermin . By all means if dogs allowed have the courtesy to be polite . Needless to say, if you have a dog Arklow it is not the place to go. And just for education purposes Lhasa Apsos do not shed hair, they are clean and hygienic dogs . I would not waste my money in this cafe if that is how they treat customers with or without the dog

16/11/2024: I've been there already few times since reopening. The first time I had steak and it was the best steak I've ever had! It was perfectly cooked and came with very good pepper sauce. Second time I had butternut squash soup, which was delicious, and fish and chips. I love their chunky chips but nothing beats homemade Guinness bread which comes with the soup! Bar and restaurant staff are very nice and friendly. So far this is my favourite spot in Arklow.

15/11/2024: Pretty quiet and friendly staff. Latte with oat milk was a little on the pricey side (€5.20), but worth it.
Options available for those who have celiac or are anaphylactic to wheat and/or gluten are a little lacking, as is common with Costa.

18/07/2024: Great takeaway food, the food is delicious and the curry is to die for. Chips are very nice especially with the curry sauce, the milkshakes are really good, if you are in need of some food I would recommend here
02/07/2024: Best chipper chips I've had in a while. Proper golden fried, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I find a lot of chipper chips aren't fried until they are golden and don't crisp up.
