16/02/2025: I have just had Sunday Lunch here today with my family. 5 adults 2 small children. It was so good. Forget your Greystones overpriced eateries. The food here is fresh, seasonal, well cooked, delicious and value for money. The pan fried fish and Sunday Roasts are particularly good. The staff are welcoming efficient and good humoured. Well done all.

10/02/2025: Three of us went there for the first time on Feb 9th. Warm friendly staff, prompt service, good quality food and excellent value for money. I shall certainly be returning and highly recommend a visit if only for a creamy pint.

18/01/2025: I went to this bakery because of the good reviews and unfortunately I have to say that it is not that bad, I ordered a chocolate croissant and they gave me some almond ones whose filling was conspicuous by its absence, on top of that they are wrong it had no flavor at all.
The place is very small, tables very close together and too noisy to have a coffee quietly.
I wouldn't really recommend it, there are better places and not so hidden.

09/02/2025: Don't order online or on just eat. Lazy delivery drivers who instead of just pressing a buzzer on a gate took the food back to restaurant. Pure laziness. When called daata we of very little help.
07/02/2025: Daata Greystones is in my opinion is the essence of civilisation. That we can enjoy the amazing food and hospitality of a far away nation on our doorstep is sublime.
The food, ambiance and service are second to none. Myself and family are regular visitors and are welcomed every time as if it were a homecoming by the outstanding Jess (who could teach some Michelin Star managers manners).

19/02/2025: Out family of 6 ate here and each of us thought the same about the food - delicious. Each element of my dish was delicious and it genuinely reminded me of the food I had when in Japan - where every detail is given great care and consideration. We'll be back.
16/02/2025: Excellent food, quick service and pleasant atmosphere. Loved the seafood miso and salmon teppanyakin- top notch. Avocado roll was delicious and of a good size unlike many other places. Oh, and prawn gyozas were top notch!

24/01/2025: Lovely starters but went downhill after that.. unfortunately our “specials board” rib-eye steaks were inedible, could hardly cut them let alone eat them. Also the Eton mess was not good - tiny bits of meringue and too much cream, could do a lot better! The crème brûlée were v nice. We were offered to have different mains but as were part of a birthday party group and didn’t want fuss, we declined and just ate the sides.
Disappointed with the food as was looking forward to a special night out.
18/01/2025: The Hungry Monk wraps around you - great food, always a welcome , consistent hospitality - each time every time. A family business started by dad Pat in the 1980s and continued by son Julien, wife Sam, M.Nicolas and the entire team. Well done.

30/12/2024: Very friendly atmosphere! Came here for lunch over Christmas and the service was friendly and the restaurant clean. Kitchen was quick and the price reasonable. Tasty food, the whole family were happy. Icing on the cake was the big Santa tracker which kept the little ones entertained on the big screen. Would recommend!

30/12/2024: The best ice cream in town, lovely staff, but the opening times are false I have countless popped down with the kids at 4:40/4:45 plenty of time for a 99. But the red door locked with customers inside and my kids very upset outside, change the opening time to 4:30 not 5pm as its a lock in from 4:40. Super disappointing
