06/12/2024: I was at a tourism conference on 5/12/24 in the Parkview Hotel and two of the guest speakers stayed there. They went into town looking for a place to eat and settled on the Mount Kennedy Inn. These are people who are engaged in conferences around Europe. They were very impressed with Mount Kennedy Inn, the food and staff. Well done to all. Im local and havent eaten there in ages so I'm going to check it out. It was great to hear such comments. One was from Prof Terry Stevens and the other was a Tourism woman from Slovenia Misa Novak. It just goes to show, you dont know whats on your doorstep!!

17/11/2024: As soon as you walk in you are welcomed by all the staff and the owner the food is excellent and big portions well priced very nice setting and nice atmosphere

07/10/2024: Erica and the girls are amazing here. The food is delicious. They also make the best scones I've ever tasted .

18/09/2024: A very nice, quiet place for a little break. :) We had a frappé and a matcha latte and two fresh, delicious scones with butter, cream and jam. The scones are baked fresh every day.

02/11/2024: Went here tonight because we heard the food was very good. Chicken wings were excellent. Chips were an absolute rip off. €5.50 for an egg cup of chips. Rip off. Beer battered onion rings were a heart attack waiting to happen. Very very greasy. I had 2 pints of Guinness and it was lovely. Would I go back? Only for the wings and the Guinness... Still can't get over the tiny portion of chips.

21/10/2024: We had a group of 10 adults and 3 children and everyone was delighted with their food and the service. I got the buttermilk chicken burger and chips and it was 10/10. They were so accommodating.

06/12/2024: Had our Xmas party tonight food came out cold and they reheated it and still came bk cold . There were to busy taking photos of the chefs and the hotel but totally forgot about there customers .. and had to pay full price of our meals which weren't worth it .. never again would I go there again

02/11/2024: Didn't stay but went to the hotel restaurant/bar Nanny Kelly's and wanted to share the awful experience I had with the toilets (which were in the hotel reception). They were disgusting - obviously not being checked. Serving food with dirty toilets is absolutely shocking. Mentioned the problem to reception and they said they'd fix it - an hour later they were still filthy. Not good enough!! There was a Gala ball on the function room and I'm sure people were only coming for the first time - not a good look having to witness this filth.
