19/10/2025: I go out of my way almost every week to get the Lebanese Falafel Wrap from this place. (It's closed on Mondays). The lentil soup is also perfection. The baklava is great to take home and serve as a dessert. One piece is enough per person I think; they are small but packed with just the right amount of sweetness and bite. Service is very friendly, it feels like a micro-holiday every time I go in there.

11/10/2025: Came in for the soup and toastie special after seeing the posters out front. Meal and service was impeccable. Lovely service staff in the front bar and restaurant. Both our waitresses were attentive and friendly, seems like the whole team really care about service. Thanks so much!

08/08/2025: Really great Italian restaurant, with magnificent service and delicious food. Wide variety in pasta dishes, with vegetarian options, and pizza. Tons of good italian wine and beer.

08/08/2025: An stunning gem in the centre of Wicklow. The food was so authentic with beautiful ingredients - in fact the best Italian food we've had outside of Italy. Would definitely recommend the risotto and tiramasu :)

07/10/2025: Wow what a great place. Fantastic value Irish breakfast for €12.50 including toast and a pot of tea. I couldnt move afterwards. Staff were very friendly even allowed us take our dog in. A big thank you! Great to hear the locals banta with each other. Obviously a local meeting place. Very busy place selling cakes and sandwiches too.

31/10/2025: For months, been ordering their excellent takeaway, this time we sat down and we're so impressed by the quality of their dishes, the menu was extensive with Singapore noodles with orawns , salt and pepper shrimp and the steak and mushrooms in oyster sauce being supremely delicious. Staff are all so attentive and proud of kitchen's dishes. Must admit to truly enjoying the Tsing Tao beer after missing it for years.

02/10/2025: Edit - tried it again today and it was amazing! They changed the packaging and the food was hot tasty and fresh. ———— Worst packaging ever, the paper bag got cut and the food fell on my front door while the delivery man was handling me the food! We only got to taste the sweet and sour chicken which was good but the rice, noodles, and beef all were on the floor

15/08/2025: Absolutely delicious. I usually get the vital protein bowl with halloumi & my partner gets the chicken wrap. The food is always so fresh and tasty.

19/08/2025: Great bar. Music, atmosphere and of course Tracey and Ash behind the bar. They got rid of the draught Bitburger (booo!), but still have the most interesting range of draught beers in the town.

23/10/2025: I was at Hyde for an informal dinner with my friend, the manager Rebeca was impeccable and introduced me to an exclusive drink, the food was perfect and in the end I had 3 drinks haha ​​and I left feeling very satisfied, a great atmosphere to relax with friends

20/09/2025: Great folks, great coffee. Also had the lotus cinnamon roll. It was fresh and truly out of the world. The food is prepared fresh in their own kitchen and sells out fast.

08/11/2025: This place has gone to the dogs! I would have gone here a good bit before but the past few times I have gone there is always something - particularly with service staff and terrible manners Went here with friends a while ago, the steak was 40€ and got a side of greens which was 5€, the steak was as small as a pork medallion and greens were completely inedible - tasted literally like burnt rubber? I complained and said I couldn’t eat the greens and steak was tiny which I ate anyways because I was starving, barely apologised to and told I could have free desert- I explained I don’t eat desert and she said that’s all they could do, I wouldn’t even expect them discount the steak but still charging me for the greens that were completely inedible?? It doesn’t even make sense to offer free desert and not discount the side which would have been the same price Went back again (I must be a fool) - we were seated at the back near the door, other people were being served that came in after us, I thought maybe they forgot about us so went up and nicely said we are at the back and could we order food, still nothing, went up again and nothing- a table that had come in after us had got their drinks ordered food and everything. They were literally walking by us. I went up one last time complained and said this is our third time to have to ask and we’ve been ignored, no apology- she just came down and took our order. I would have left only we were starving and didn’t want to move on somewhere else and wait there. My dad also went here a few months ago and ordered soup, had to ask for a spoon and was told there was none left and the waiter laughed, He had to wait 15 minutes for a spoon to be washed and it had gone stone cold by then. I usually have a lot of patience for waiters as I was one and it’s not an easy job, but the service doesn’t need to be this bad it’s not even busy when this stuff has happened The staff have a stinking attitude, the managers couldn’t care less either! And the food can be hit and miss and completely over priced.

01/11/2025: The food was fantastic, both in taste and presentation. As a German, you wouldn't expect something like that in a pub. The service was very friendly and the price was right.

09/08/2025: My cappuccino was fabulous and the staff were super friendly. Bit sad that i was tight on time and had to get a takeaway. Next time I am in Wicklow, I will have food and will dine in. Can't wait !!

18/09/2025: It was amazing food. We both had the monkfish and would definitely recommend it. We also tried the rum baba and the creme brulee and they were delicious. We were also given excellent service. We would come back to Wicklow just to eat here.
