19/10/2024: We are incredibly grateful for them hosting our rehearsal dinner. They did a phenomenal job with serving 40+ people. The food was the BEST we have ever had. I had everyone coming up saying it was the best meal they ever experienced.

07/11/2024: We had such a good time at The Good Life a couple of weeks ago and it was so amazing that none of us even thought of our phones so unfortunately I don’t have photos of the gorgeous space and absolutely delish food that was beautifully presented and placed. The waitress knew her wines and really was so helpful making sure we had what we needed. Service was excellent. I can’t say this about many places so I had to write a review because a place like this deserves if!
We all said we felt like we had stepped into special little hub in France where the locals go!
Book in advance as it’s getting popular but sometimes you might get lucky with a cancellation.
You won’t be disappointed.

01/11/2024: What a gem of a coffee shop and it's clear that the locals know this already. Excellent coffee at good prices. The homemade sausage rolls were disappearing out the door far too fast for my liking while I was in the queue but I got the last 2 and wow! Yum, yum.

Always a good chat with James's & with the other Barbers as there is always great interaction amongst everyone. The cut & beard trim is always spot on & perfect 👌. Highly recommended.

17/11/2024: Love this pub. Opens early for breakfast and has some really interesting options as well as the classics.
Lunch menu is exceptionally good value (check out the mini-roast) and the Indian food served at dinner is top quality.
The staff are super friendly and professional - great attribute to the place. Pints of Guinness aren't half bad either!

01/11/2024: Came here for the second time this week after enjoying some lovely sausage rolls. I ordered the pancakes and was bewildered with what I was served. I’m pretty sure it was pancake batter that was used but that is where the pancakery ended. They had the dimensions, appearance and texture of chicken cutlets with a maple syrup aftertaste. I would have voiced my concerns had anybody checked to see how I was enjoying my breakfast but I will vote with my feet instead. So very disappointed.
