19/10/2025: I go out of my way almost every week to get the Lebanese Falafel Wrap from this place. (It's closed on Mondays). The lentil soup is also perfection. The baklava is great to take home and serve as a dessert. One piece is enough per person I think; they are small but packed with just the right amount of sweetness and bite. Service is very friendly, it feels like a micro-holiday every time I go in there.

11/10/2025: Came in for the soup and toastie special after seeing the posters out front. Meal and service was impeccable. Lovely service staff in the front bar and restaurant.
Both our waitresses were attentive and friendly, seems like the whole team really care about service. Thanks so much!

08/08/2025: An stunning gem in the centre of Wicklow. The food was so authentic with beautiful ingredients - in fact the best Italian food we've had outside of Italy. Would definitely recommend the risotto and tiramasu :)

19/10/2025: We are new Wicklow residents, this was our first time at Sparrows Nest and we were not disappointed. Excellent food, including Lamb Shank, which was tender and delicious and light and tasty tempura fish accompanied by a lovely French Rose. Our waitress, Alex, was extremely welcoming, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was busy, the atmosphere was warm and pleasant with a great buzz, but the front of house and kitchen staff were on the ball.
We will definitely be back!

08/10/2025: Went to the bridge for food and drinks. The food was delicious, couldn’t fault it. No long wait either. All the staff here are so kind and welcoming. Those buffalo wings are 🤌🏻

07/10/2025: Wow what a great place. Fantastic value Irish breakfast for €12.50 including toast and a pot of tea. I couldnt move afterwards. Staff were very friendly even allowed us take our dog in. A big thank you! Great to hear the locals banta with each other. Obviously a local meeting place. Very busy place selling cakes and sandwiches too.

22/09/2025: Great for drinks on Saturday night got talking to the bar maid downstairs and she was great with local knowledge and remembered my drink order every time . I love ❤️ the small cool bar downstairs . Full marks Hyde I will be back
20/09/2025: Dublin’s hidden gem , nesting just off Grafton street . Lunch was very enjoyable and a pint of Guinness for five euro . Girl who served us very good and extremely chatty ! Well dine Hyde and Dougs bar !

18/09/2025: It was amazing food. We both had the monkfish and would definitely recommend it. We also tried the rum baba and the creme brulee and they were delicious. We were also given excellent service. We would come back to Wicklow just to eat here.

The Good life Coffee shop

09/08/2025: My cappuccino was fabulous and the staff were super friendly. Bit sad that i was tight on time and had to get a takeaway. Next time I am in Wicklow, I will have food and will dine in. Can't wait !!
