12/07/2025: I went to the town last year and had Lebanese food for the first time in my life and it was absolutely amazing. I visited the town again today and I just go to this restaurant again. The food is still great and the servants are very nice and friendly as they were.

02/07/2025: We stopped in to grab some takeaway food but then found out that they had tables to sit at, so we did. It turned out to be a very good experience and the pizza was wonderful. The owner was very friendly and kind. The only disappointment was that they were closed the following 2 days and we wanted to return to try their pasta but we didn’t get the chance because we had to leave Wicklow. If ever in Wicklow, I can highly recommend La Locandina, it is great and the pasta being served to others looked wonderful. The restaurant is run by 2 Italians, so the food is authentic.

05/03/2025: Would highly recommend James.C. Had been getting my hair cut in various places before he cut my hair. Was never too sure about what I wanted, but he helped me figure out what would be best and always takes his time and does immaculate work. This is now the only place and man I will get my hair cut by. Best haircut I have ever had. Great stuff James.

05/07/2025: I went there a few back for drinks with some friends. My friend had booked a place outside on the terrace but this wasn't prepared for us, after confirming the agreement on the reservation the staff was able to prepare a table for us. Drinks are great, food is standard for a bar of that category, the evening seemed fine until after we paid. Upon checking the bill we realized we were wrongly charged a 38 bt of wine, when we asked for it and confirmed we didn't have any wine, the staff said they couldn't reimburse the money, then offered 3 cocktails to which we counter offered 5 shots, since we were 5 people. They didn't give us the shots and told us they were going to give us the money in cash, perfect right? They ended up giving us 38 euro in 2 euro coins. For such a "fancy" bar, this was a disgrace when they move thousands in cash on a Friday night as it was. Very cheap move!

15/06/2025: So disappointed. I had a great experience with the staff and the venue is gorgeous. The bouncers ruined the entire experience. They are the rudest people I’ve met in my entire life so I will never go back again. So disheartening as we spent a lot of money in this venue only to be belittled by the bouncers to boost their ego.

12/07/2025: Swimming in the ocean and then dinner here = A+ day. Also happens to be right next to the bus stop for the 740a to Dublin.

01/07/2025: A year ago, the food was significantly better. The staff was quite disinterested. The Indian food was quite good, but the batter on the fried fish and scampi was not crispy and very greasy.

02/07/2025: This review is only for the restaurant since we didn’t actually stay at the Bridge Tavern. We ate there 3 times however. That should tell you something, that we liked the food, service and ambiance. The breakfast served was fantastic. If you sit at one of the tables along the river, you can enjoy the lovely view of the old bridge. I can highly recommend the restaurant when in Wicklow.

03/08/2025: Hidden Gem in Wicklow on the Quay. Food was absolutely delicious, service was flawless. Only got to take pictures of starters as when the mains came I couldn't wait to start eating.
