19/10/2024: We are incredibly grateful for them hosting our rehearsal dinner. They did a phenomenal job with serving 40+ people. The food was the BEST we have ever had. I had everyone coming up saying it was the best meal they ever experienced.

07/11/2024: We had such a good time at The Good Life a couple of weeks ago and it was so amazing that none of us even thought of our phones so unfortunately I don’t have photos of the gorgeous space and absolutely delish food that was beautifully presented and placed. The waitress knew her wines and really was so helpful making sure we had what we needed. Service was excellent. I can’t say this about many places so I had to write a review because a place like this deserves if!
We all said we felt like we had stepped into special little hub in France where the locals go!
Book in advance as it’s getting popular but sometimes you might get lucky with a cancellation.
You won’t be disappointed.

01/11/2024: What a gem of a coffee shop and it's clear that the locals know this already. Excellent coffee at good prices. The homemade sausage rolls were disappearing out the door far too fast for my liking while I was in the queue but I got the last 2 and wow! Yum, yum.

31/12/2024: Where do I start. No soap in bathrooms so they gave us the one from the kitchen hence no soap in kitchen.
I saw one of the waitresses eat a chip from a customer's plate before taking it out.
Cheap food and bad hygiene. Do not go.

17/11/2024: Love this pub. Opens early for breakfast and has some really interesting options as well as the classics.
Lunch menu is exceptionally good value (check out the mini-roast) and the Indian food served at dinner is top quality.
The staff are super friendly and professional - great attribute to the place. Pints of Guinness aren't half bad either!

22/12/2024: From the moment we stepped in the door. Waited over 5mins to be seated an had to ask
Dog in restaurant barking constantly for 10mins or more. Had to ask for menu. Food arrived cold had to send back. Another dog roaming around the premises. Supervisor seemed more interested in the dog barking than customers petting the dog etc an the continued to serve customers without washing her hands. It was bewildering to watch all this unfold. I really do believe this should be looked into from a health an safety point of view. Finally when I paid the bill it was wrong and told the supervisor that the service and food was poor. She smiled and said she would tell the chef.
01/12/2024: We eat here regularly, one of the best places around. Highly recommend
