Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great pints of Guinness and the food was amazing

Food is absolutely delicious me and my partner love coming here as the portions are well done , and we always leave stuffed ! Your paying for what your getting . The only down side would be the service we like to sit in the back the poet room and we make it knowing to the waiters/waitresses each time but they always seem to forget about us and we have to keep getting up asking for bits , no one to check how where getting on etc , the place could definitely do with a refurbishing .

lovely pub the last time I was in this pub was 2009 on a stag I think the man that owned it then since past . lovely pub great friendly staff had a pint of Murphys and it was good . I will not leave it as long before I go back again. also met Pete on the Saturday.

This was one of our favorite places as we drove around Ireland. When we walked into the smallish place, it was loud, busy, and a bit chaotic but it didn't take long to feel comfortable. There are about 10 tables in the main area, some outside seating and around 6 seats at the bar. They have about 7-8 beers and ciders on tap and a selection of bottles. They have a good menu with some specials. We got the bangers and mash (recommended by the waiter and very good) and some calamari. The plating was upscale and looked appetizing the moment it was delivered. It's conveniently located right downtown. We would visit again.

We ate here last year and it was gorgeous. So we went again today. We both had the roast lamb. Very generous portions at a great price. It was delicious. I recommend it to anyone visiting Westport. You will leave here very satisfied. The staff are very nice and courteous.

Great spot for all-day breakfast. You'll get a great feed.

Food was delicious, service wasn't great. We arrived and had our order taken within a few minutes, 3 other tables of tourists came after us and they got their full dinner meals before us. We waited almost an hour to start eating whereas the tourists who came after us only waited 15 minutes for their food. We got sandwiches, they got full dinners. It was good food, good value too it's just the service let us down, we got up ready to just leave as they were taken so long and it was frustrating to see others after us get priority probably as they are tourists.

Great spot for watching the sport over a pint or two. Their full Irish and their chicken are especially delicious.
