Food, service & setting were all top notch. For a group of 11, we were seated upstairs in our own room which was perfect. Our total bill came to just over 900e. Everyone was delighted with their food & the wine was tasty too. The downstairs seems to seat smaller groups but upstairs is perfect for a group of 10-12.

Food was old fashioned and underwhelming.
If you enjoy your carvery food, I would recommend.
Disappointed in the lack of wine knowledge. Staff was lovely otherwise.
This was a really disappointing meal. We had very high hopes, but sadly they fell very short. The server did not explain the two menus to us, so we were left guessing, and when an opinion was asked, she was surprised by what was on the menu, as she wasn’t familiar with it. The starters were good. The mains were not. The scallops were full of grit and the steak (which was an up charge) was overcooked. The desserts were good, but didn’t make up for the rest of it. For the prices they charge, it’s not remotely good enough, and gritty scallops are never acceptable. Why this is Michelin recommended, I’m not sure.

Got a late booking and had a wonderful evening. We were on a table upstairs ( a lovely room ) and choose the €65 menu. I had lobster salad followed by Scallops. Really good. Also the waiter who looked after us was great. Attentive and funny. He made a great evening better.

Had booked a table for 2 in the evening and had a great experience, wide variety of starters, mains and desserts all of which sounded amazing with an extensive drinks menu to compliment.
All front of house was attentive, relaxed, professional and charming.
The chefs know what they are doing without a doubt, wonderful detailed food with little wait time!!
Have eaten in most restaurants in Westport and this is the first to make us feel like we were on holiday again in our own town.
Will be back!!

My husbabd and I visited An Port Mor last night for an early dinner. The restaurant was busy and deservedly so...our meal was fab. There are two set menus (changing regularly) to choose from and honestly I could have picked any of the courses from each and have been happy. I choose sea trout gravlax, fish and chips (posh version with mescan beer batter, light as a feather) and rhubarb pudding while my husband had pudding terraine, duck two ways and cheese board.....we relished every morsal and cleared our plates. We had a lovely bottle of Portugese red and petit fours to finish off (I took my share home as I was stuffed. ). Our waitress Lucy was very plesant and efficient as waa Manager Lucy...thanks An Port Mor for a lovely evening and congrats on winning best restaurant in Connaught, roll on the All Irelands!!!

This is a wonderful restaurant. We went for dinner to celebrate a family birthday in March 2025. We chose from the set menu. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm, the maitre de was fun and entertaining. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Enjoy!
