Best Meal Ever! I’ve eaten in many restaurants all around the world but must say last nights feast was the best ever. The fish starter was very tasty & plentiful & the steak cooked just right was oozing with flavour's. The cheese board had an interesting twist with curried flavoured bread! And all the staff including the chef Anthony who popped his head out for a chat were all very welcoming & professional! Look forward to returning!

I brought my boyfriend for his birthday dinner on Friday and we had an amazing experience. He's quite a picky eater so I was a bit anxious but the menu had great options, both for him and for me who'd be a bit more adventurous. I ate caviar for the first time and was not disappointed! The venison for main was full of flavours and cooked perfectly. But great food is nothing without proper service! We had Stéphane looking after us and he was everything you wish for in a waiter. Funny, attentive and knowledgeable. Finally, special mention for the wine list which is one of the best I've seen in Ireland. Well balanced mix of different wines from various countries that will suit all budgets. I've seen some reviews complaining about pricing but I think it was worth every euro as the quality of everything was top-notch. Also if you go for the cheaper menu, you can count around €55 pp for 3 courses and a glass of wine which is what you'd pay anywhere else. As we say in French, chapeau 👌 We will be back!

What can i say! This is a hidden gem big time! We had the set menu and both starters were sooooooo good, well presented. The mains did not disappoint either. Had the Cajun salmon and my girlfriend had the chicken dish (can't remember exactly) but oh my god they both tasted devine and the portions were perfect, wasn't stuffed too much but just perfect. The desserts then came out and blew us both away! Cannot fault the service, our waitress was an absolute gem and knew how to wait a table with guile and made us feel so relaxed. We also were lucky to get the cosiest table with lovely music and nice wine. Best night dining I've had in a long time. Reasonably priced too for such high quality experience. This place is a must!! We visited as a group , selecting the €77 menu. It was a delight to see a carefully thought out seasonal menu. I chose a Partridge starter,which was exceptional,and Pork with scallops for main. Quite what Pork and scallops have in common I’m not sure but both were beautifully cooked with a delicious sauce. The wine list was more than satisfactory. The service was attentive, good humoured and of high quality (Annette). The venue is slightly quirky but comfortable and we enjoyed it. Why not 5 stars? The desserts. The dessert list looked unremarkable compared with the rest of the menu. The actual desserts,with the exception of the Jaffa cake, were underwhelming. Rum baba with minimal rum, sticky toffee pudding which was a steamed sponge with minimal toffee and rum and raisin ice cream again with no obvious rum. I hope to return in a different season, there are so many good things here and I would recommend. With better desserts I would highly recommend.

From the host Lucy to the waitress Lucy, both ladies were excellent. The service was second to none with both ladies being very friendly, pleasant and attentive. Frankie the owner/chef runs an fantastic restaurant with a great team of staff behind him….both front and back of house. The food is top notch with a selection and great choice from 2 menus. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Westport.
