Wedding Venue of our dreams!! Wow! I can’t recommend the Avalon highly enough! Laura is a phenomenal wedding organiser who listens to your vision and brings it to life! She feels like a friend straight away who is fully invested in the day! Peter and Laura then make sure the day runs perfectly, remaining calm and positive throughout! The Avalon is the perfect place for a private wedding where you are the priority for the whole hotel! They could not have been more supportive! I can’t thank them enough for the most perfect day! All of our guests loved it commenting on the gorgeous food, friendly staff and homely rooms!

Good overnight accommodation near Kilkenny. Parking was free. The bathroom cleanliness could be improved. Special thanks to the two lovely young ladies at breakfast. I can recommend the hotel.

Visited the outdoor sauna area here.. lovely hot 95 in sauna with cold 4° plunge pools outside... Great view through large window overlooking the River.. Will definitely be back!

Had Dinner beef wasnt great need to find a new butcher but staff were very friendly and professional
