Avenue in Maynooth

A group of us had dinner here last night and it was absolutely top notch. The food was incredible, cocktails were made perfectly and the staff were so friendly and fun. If I didn’t live 2 hours away I'd go every weekend! Highly recommend.

Christmas do. Had to wait a half hour past our booking time in the doorway, sidestepping staff and customers. When our table freed up, we waited another half an hour for any food. In fairness, it was a Friday evening in December. Probably should have expected it. Had the Calamari to start. Was tasty and a good-sized portion. Ordered the battered fish and chips for the main. It was strongly smoked and not to my taste, but entirely my own doing for not reading the menu properly! 🫣 Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Had a sticky toffee pudding to finish. Was very nice. Service was fine. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. All in all, not bad. Would give it another go, but at a less busy time.

Went with wife and baby on Saturday lunch I feel like I have to write this review not really about the food but what happened, to say we were shocked is an understatement...... How amazing it is to see a waiter approach the kitchen with constructive criticism about a sandwich and to be treated with respect and a great team response, yes the flavours were amazing and was a slightly small issue with the execution, the staff spoke about it calmly and then said lets try make it a little different Hats off to you guys and thanks for looking after us Happy Christmas 🎄 to the whole team

We got a reserved room for our dinner in 8. The service was great and the food was okay.

This place is a little gem, food is unreal, well priced and staff are lovely. The ribs are top drawer.

Truly an exceptional dining experience from start to finish! Many places claim to have it all….Avenue does!!! The warmth of the welcome when you arrive is second to none, an we were shown to our table immediately. The choice on the menu is varied and each dish sounds more amazing than the last. I had the duck confit which was so good it fell off the bone, and that was followed by the most perfectly cooked steak I have ever had! I can’t find any fault with our experience at all - we will definitely return!

Great little restaurant, food was good. Good selection of cocktails too. Bar was running slow on the night we were there but staff were very good throughout. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Visited with my boyfriend last night for our anniversary. The staff made us feel extra special and brought us over some prosecco to celebrate. The service was excellent and food was fab as always. Have visited here many times over the years and will continue to do so!

Relaxing Atmosphere, Friendly Professional Staff, Lovely Cocktails and Good Food is how I would sum up my visit to this restaurant. We decided to book the restaurant for our 22nd wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, all the staff were engaging, friendly, helpful, and professional. It didn't make a difference, the fact that the restaurant was packed. The chicken wings to share we're lovely, the 'Ribeye' steak was cooked perfectly and really nice, my wife's hake dish was delicious and the desserts were also really good (sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie), not too mention the lovely Cocktails and friendly bar staff and service. All in all, 5x star

We ate phenomenal. The place is very cozy, the food is very good and the waiters are very helpful.
