The rooms were fine but the food at the restaurant was outstanding...both dinner and breakfast ! Really great place to stop, eat, stay. In lovely location too, we did the walk round the mountain and it was just great. Highly recommend.

Exceptional all round. Very unassuming venue with relexed but very professional staff. The flavours and menu were on point, a big hats off to the chef. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.💯

The Bay Tree is an institution in Carlingford for great food. Recently they began music sessions in the garden and on a recent Sunday afternoon visit @Heavenlymydear was singing our favourite, moody, classics. It was a memorable aftrnoon. ps the good was terrific too.

Eaten in this restaurant many years ago and it's still as good as I remember. Lovely decor and very attentive staff. Honestly one of the nicest steaks I've ever had. Cocktails are also amazing. Cannot wait to return.

If you are looking for great food and service take your self down to the bay tree restaurant. We popped in there yesterday and the food, service and price were world class … well done guys we will be back and thank you for a wonderful afternoon ❤️

01/08/2024: Great tasting homemade food, very reasonable place to eat when out with the family. Nice bar with a local crowd, large beer garden out back and live music 6 nights a week. Would highly recommend coming here with family for the food

Carlingford Arms

28/10/2024: Lived our visit today to Carlingford Arms. A very well run establishment, welcoming and friendly staff. Good was value for money and very tasty. Bar area is very nice with Halloween theme and so many signs that has us laughing so much. Pinta if Guinness were excellent.
21/10/2024: We as family had a beautiful & very tasty dinner, we had 4 main courses & 1 dessert, 2 steak burgers, lasagne & cod and chips. The dessert was a chocolate fudge cake & vanilla ice cream. All of the food was fantastic
