09/09/2024: Food is excellent, all fresh fish! Service was great too. Would definetely go back! Had the crab gratin and fish of the day and both were excellent.

15/08/2024: Absolutely amazing place run by great staff who are efficient and extremely friendly and funny. We made the mistake of not booking ahead but they very generously squeezed us in and we sat up at the counter of the bar which did not bother us at all and made for an even more fun experience. They were completely booked up and it’s easy to see why. The food was quick to arrive and extremely high quality. I had the spicy calamari which was delicious and served with a portion of crunchy and tasty fries and a super salad which gave me some great ideas for flavour combinations as it had melon, apple, radish and beetroot along with the usual tomato, lettuce etc and was dressed with a zingy dill dressing. I would never have combined all those ingredients but it really does work. My husband had the hake which was so light and flaky and tasty. The portions were generous so we didn’t have room for dessert but they looked great too. Had the perfect pint of Murphy’s too. All in all a fantastic experience and the staff were tremendous. My advice would be to book though! It’s very popular. It’s also cash only so make sure you take cash.
