Bocelli in Cork

Modified Italian food, not passable overall.

We came here today and we were given the table directly in front of the screen waiters or staff use, which means that we had waiters looking directly at us and our table for almost the whole time we were there. I felt really uncomfortable as someone was always there standing directly in front of our table. This table shouldn’t be there, or screen should be moved somewhere else so there is no staff constantly watching you. When it comes to food, I got Risotto Al Filetto, it was ok but small portion for €21.90, I wouldn’t order it again. Also garlic bread is just half a wrap with garlic butter on it. Tiramisu wasn’t good at all, I would say the worst I ever had and this place claims to be an Italian restaurant. Filling was runny, 95% of this dessert was just warm runny cream or whatever they used to make it, barely any coffee taste and almost no biscuit base, very disappointed. Paid almost €40 for my food and I am still hungry as portions were tiny. Staff were polite and made you feel looked after but food was average in my opinion.

Very nice restaurant.Easy to reach, extensive menu,attentive waiters .You should try goats cheese + chicken stroganoff, slow cooked lamb was also exceptional.

We had an amazing lunch on Saturday, everything was perfect, I ordered a pasta and tiramissu, my husband ordered tuna steak and chocolate foundue.

My wife and I walked in at the Bocelli Kitchen & Wine Bar. We did not have a booking. Even so we were received with open arms and made to feel at home. There was an open table which were booked for later, but were were sat there. I ordered the 100gm Sirloin steak and my wife ordered the sea bass. The food was beautifully presented and was extremely tasty. The steak was just as I ordered it. The prices were very reasonable. We cannot wait to go back there. I highly recommend the culinary experience. Good advice is to book a table about a month in advance, and I can understand why. Thank you Bocelli for the welcome and excellent food

Top class Restaurant,I brought my partner here for her birthday,when I was booking over the phone they asked me was it a special occasion. We were met at the door and welcomed by the friendliest and most professional hostess and shown to our table,soon followed by a cocktail with a candle and all the staff singing Happy birthday while it played over the speakers,even the people eating at the other tables got involved 😀 the food was amazing,one of the best steaks I ever had,and the bread and butter pudding for dessert,best I ever had.I also could not believe how reasonable it was for what we got.Our waiter was excellent.First time eating here and looking forward to going back.😀
