BR Bistro in Carrick-on-shannon

Fabulous restaurant, very attentive and well trained staff, delicious food. I had the Koftas main which were delicious but i was disappointed with the portion size for the price, as I was still starved after eating it. Nonetheless that was just my experience and the people accompanying me, their portions were generous. Would return.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food, including steak and seafood pasta, as well as the dessert. The service was excellent. The cleanliness of the restaurant, especially the restrooms, is also worth mentioning, which isn't the case in many other restaurants.

Excellent quality, good value restaurant in the main street in Carrick. We were passing through on a boating trip and liked it so much we went again on the way back.

What an amazing experience we had over the weekend. From the moment we stepped in until we left, we enjoyed every minute. The service was so friendly, yet very professional, the Goat Cheese and zucchini starters were best I ever had, the main course of Prawns & Chorizo pil pil tasted so fresh and my partner had the steak which was perfectly cooked and the best he ever had. We both tried their cocktails which were to pretty to drink. Overall, a very memorable experience. We'll be back and tell all our friends to try BR Bistro

We have been to Carrick on Shannon before but first time eating in this restaurant . The staff were lovely and very friendly it was around 4 O'Clock when we went in and I had chicken ans chorizo penne pasta with a tomato sauce and cheese and I thought it was delicious. The food was roasting hot and was very filling. My step daughter had the same and loved it too. My wife enjoyed her meal too but i can't remember what she had lol. I had a Guinness and my daughter had a pint of coke and my wife had a drink too and then me and my wife had a dessert and that came to around £90 which was well worth the money as it was very delicious.

Some dishes were great some average specially for the price, one was cold giving the feedback that it was cold instead of agreeing they told us it was served hot, they said it in a nice way, but seems they don't accept real feedback if it doesn't match their expectation.

On a family visit to the area, popped in BR Bistro for a Tuesday night dinner. Restaurant was quiet, but service was spot on, very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and very well presented. Would recommend the beef kofte and banoffee pie.

Food was good but a little pricey. We went on Easter Monday, so we were the only ones at the time.. Burgers and steak were very good.
