A Standout Spot in Castlebar There’s truly no place like The Bridge Street Bar in Castlebar. It brings something fresh and modern to the town from its stylish interior and vibrant atmosphere to the consistently high standard of service and presentation. The staff is always on point, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. The drinks are excellent, and there’s always a great buzz whether you’re there for a casual evening or a big night out. Its central location makes it the perfect meeting spot, and it’s quickly become one of the go-to venues in the area. A brilliant addition to Castlebar’s social scene; highly recommend it!

18/09/2025: What a gem of a place, we’d been to the Deli the day before and bought some granola and flour, and had a take out coffee, so we were really looking forward to a late breakfast at Café Rua. First impressions were a fantastic welcome and real friendly people, nothing sham or pretend here. What a great menu, absolutely something for all tastes and dietary requirements. The chorizo, spinach and sautéed potatoes, topped with 2 perfectly poached eggs and accompanied with chilli relish was excellent. Real fresh orange juice was delightful, and the coffee? Epic! What a fabulous way to spend time being looked after in one of the best cafés I’ve visited.

06/09/2025: We made a last decision to call in here for food on a Saturday evening. As we walked in it was obvious the pub was very busy, but the manager found us a table that was free until its next booking at 8pm. Over the next hour we enjoyed some of the best Guinness of our 3 week trip along with great food and excellent service. Highly recommended.
24/08/2025: The food was delicious and all staff were brilliant
