Call anytime down East food is incredible u won't get better taco fries and chesse anywhere. Any one I told to visit go back again. U won't b disappointed believe me. Staff always pleasent and patent.

Went here tonight for food , the quality of the food was top class and the service was even better , it’s great to see a friendly smile even though the chipper was very busy, will definitely be back.

Food is generally good. However, if ordering online or on phone, make sure you check the food in the shop. We use it every one or two weeks and four or five times in the past six months, items have been missing (including twice over the Christmas season). We let it go the first number of times. However, when we rang this evening, they noted the missing item in "the book" and said we will get it for free next time. That's fair enough. However, it still left a family member with no order this time and it not possible to replace quickly as we are 15 minutes from the chipper. Room for improvement.

The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We tried fish & chips and they put vinegar in one of them which gave it a brutal touch. I recommend the place 100% <3

Highly recommend. Great value. I had the chicken thighs and they were delicious. Very friendly and efficient staff. There are a few tables to sit down also.

16/03/2025: We had a great stay at the Talbot two nights ago, on our way through Midleton. The friendly and helpful staff were our first impression as we were greeted straight away and helped to our rooms. The room itself was huge and well appointed with comfortable beds and linen. The bathroom was also very big and elegant, with high quality products provided. I enjoyed a nightcap in the lively bar and a great sleep. With plentiful parking and a central location, you can't do better than this and the price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended if you're visiting the distillery or travelling for work. Check out The Grumpy Bakers for the best pastries on planet earth - it's about a ten minute walk down the road. Can't wait to come back to Midleton again - thanks for a lovely stay.
