Coast Bar in Westport

It is amazing place in Westpor MY Irlanda, a place whit history, wonderfull and very care eache space, the house and gardens. Now in chritsmas all is completely iluminate and can visit Sta. Claus house.

Went for a lovely ramble around the grounds yesterday even the bad weather didn't hinder it. They have a winter wonderland on at the moment and it was lovely. Really enjoyed treating ourselves to a hot chocolate and some sweet treats.

It’s an incredible place for relax and enjoy the nature with your little ones… Many options for fun and relax like the Westport house adventure or pedal with the swans in the lake… Your kids it’s gonna love it….

Only 1 start for rooms as I never stayed here. Great location to bring the kids for a day. Can be quite pricey for food

Beautiful gardens, the house a little abandoned.

We had high hopes for Coast Bar after a long day, but our experience was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were an afterthought. The person who seated us seemed indifferent, and when we had questions about the drinks, we were simply handed a menu with a  "all the details are here." It was a busy night, which we understood, but we were left outside for 30 minutes after finishing our dinner without even being asked if we wanted more drinks or the bill. Eventually, we went inside to pay as no one returned to our table, and even that seemed to be an inconvenience for the staff. As for the food, it was good. However, our order was incorrect—I ordered the five spice wok chicken with wedges but received chips instead. Overall, the customer service was lacking, which is a shame because this place came recommended to us.

The layout is like an airport bar, quite packed and uncomfortable. There is very little character or atmosphere. The owners need to look at a new layout, new furniture, etc. The staff are nice and fairly efficient and the food was ok. I got a burger - 7/10 and a nice desert 7/10.
