Very nice attraction in Westport

This is not a hotel. This house was built in the 1600s and remained in the family until the 1960s and then saved the house from destruction by allowing the public to visit. The family history is fascinating and well worth the visit. It is surrounded by 300 acres of woodlands on the edge of Westport, a beautiful town. 😍

Westport house was amazing. Our guide, Fionn was great. His knowledge, personality & character made the tour memorable and even more interesting. He is a great asset to the Westport house.

WALK THE GROUNDS! It’s free. Beautiful lake, forest, trees and garden scenery. A secret hit of Westport for me.

Portions size has got smaller, have been going there or the other Corcoran establishments for over 20 years, left hungry!!! Daughter ordered chicken wings for main course, she received starter course wings instead,, sent back but bill at end of evening changed for starter course and main course wings, did not query at time as did not review the bill ( my fault) . Obviously no communication between floor staff and cashier, if a order taker gets it wrong, and you inform them, and they bring back the mistaken item, it's still on your bill . Pity, first time I left a Corcoran establishment hungry, and later when I got home and had my glasses and revued the bill Annoyed

Excellent hotel - really friendly staff, really helpful. Beds very comfortable- room had everything you need. Asked for a quiet room & it was perfect. Room very spacious, new & exceptionally clean. Pool was Beautiful. Restaurant was fabulous. Would highly recommend.
