Dining Room in Castlebar legal

Beautiful food, expertly prepared, hospitable service, and a beautiful room. If it wouldn’t require a transatlantic flight I would gladly dine here weekly. We came with a group of 8 rather last minute and they took excellent care of us. We’re already preparing for our next meal in a few months.

My wife Vivien and I, nephew Shane and his wife, Mairead recently had the pleasure of dining at The Dining Room, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The Stirzarker family and their staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, creating an atmosphere that’s as friendly as it is comfortable. It’s clear that the team at the Dining Room truly cares about their guests, while the food itself is simply outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. You can tell the chef here is passionate about his craft, as the food felt creative and thoughtfully prepared. The combination of excellent food, fine wine and such friendly service makes dining at the Dining Room a truly special experience. If you’re looking for a place where you can not only enjoy an incredible meal but also feel truly cared for by a welcoming team, this is the restaurant for you. I had a fantastic dining experience at the Dining Room in Castlebar. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I ordered the chicken supreme and the fillet of Hereford beef, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and the quality of the ingredients was exceptional. The service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the Dining Room to anyone looking for a great meal in Castlebar.

We had a great night in the Dining Room. From the moment you walk into the cosy restaurant, you're made feel extremely welcome. From there, it only gets better with a wonderful menu served to a high standard. It was one of those rare cases were I would gladly take one of everything on the menu. Each one of the courses was top class and it soon became very clear why the walls are covered in awards. Highly recommended.

Simply superb. Lovely atmosphere, great food, spotless clean. In particular we have to complement the wonderful waitress Avril, she was simply outstanding, so on the ball and managed all the tables and people with such ease, professionalism and wonderful manner.

Could not find any faults mixed and match off both menus and the price was reasonable for the quality of the food we got

Our first time dining in the dinning room on Wednesday night ! From start to finish I couldn’t fault the experience . The waiter and waitress who were working and serving us that evening were amazing and couldn’t do more for everyone dining ! There was a lovely atmosphere in there . We had the 59 euro menu , I had the duck special and my partner had the fillet steak! Every course was delicious, presented well and bursting with taste . We left so happy and impressed ! Initially when we sat the waitress had asked if we were out for an occasion and we said our anniversary which they later added a lovely touch on the desert plate ! It’s the little things ! The decor is beautiful, like I said I couldn’t fault any of it and we can’t wait to keep this place for special occasions going forward ! The food is top class . Thanks all. X
