Hungry Knight in Sneem

Good fish & chips, fast and friendly service.

Simple menu, more suitable for a snack. The pizzas are apparently frozen and are not made fresh, but they are too expensive. All in all, the service is super friendly and you'll be well fed without having too many expectations.

The oven cooked fish was terrific and we were very happy and relieved as we had driven from Kenmare after having been told about this place. The hand cut chips were delicious. Dave and the friendly female server do a fabulous job running this place and it is well worth a visit at 15.00E for fish and chips.

Excellent fresh fish and chips, really worth stopping in. We also stayed upstairs so it was a double win. Room was very comfortable. Very friendly owners.

The Hungry Knight in Sneem is a fantastic place for a delicious and satisfying meal. The food is absolutely amazing, with fresh ingredients, generous portions, and rich flavors that make every dish stand out. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you won’t be disappointed. One of the best things about this restaurant is the excellent variety of vegetarian options. Unlike many places where vegetarian dishes feel like an afterthought, The Hungry Knight offers well-prepared, flavorful choices that are just as satisfying as the rest of the menu. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is exceptional. The manager (or owner) is an incredibly kind and helpful person. He went out of his way to assist us during the evening, making sure we had everything we needed. We are truly grateful for his kindness and hospitality. Overall, The Hungry Knight is a must-visit if you're in Sneem. With fantastic food, great vegetarian options, and outstanding service, it’s a place we highly recommend!
