Isaacs Restaurant in Cork

I had an amazing time here! The food is delicious but the staff are also extremely friendly, welcoming, and entertaining! They made an effort to sing for my friend's birthday party and even took some photos of our group on our request. Even though we stayed late, they never hurried us out and let us take our time! All of the food choices are fantastic, particularly the lamb curry and duck. I would highly, highly reccomend Isaac's!

For my father-in-law’s milestone celebration, he decided to visit his hometown in Ireland, and our first dinner happened to be at Isaac’s restaurant right in the heart of Cork. The ambiance is cozy with a touch of sophistication, yet it is casual. We were seated right away, and we started with several appetizers to share, such as seafood chowder with garlic croutons and crispy fried Brie with chili jam and mixed leaves, together with a nice bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. For the main entrée, my eyes caught the attention of mild Madras lamb curry served with basmati rice, poppadoms, and side dishes. I found it flavorful, and the lamb was tender and went well with the basmati rice and the red wine. We had a great time here. The service was efficient, the staff are friendly, helpful, and patient, even if we stayed past the closing time. If you happen to be in Cork, this place is a must-visit.

We had an amazing dining experience at Isaac’s, largely due to the exceptional service provided by Luke. From the moment we arrived, Luke made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to our every need with genuine care and attention. The level of service was truly outstanding and set Isaac’s apart from other places we’ve visited. We highly recommend this restaurant, and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Luke, you're in for a treat!

I always make a point of visiting Isaac’s twice during my annual visit to Cork. And it always delivers time after time. Excellent food-beautifully prepared and presented, ambience and service. Looking forward to next year already.

First went to Isaac’s 20 years ago and I’ve always remembered how good it was back then so when I had to organise a business meal for a large group I picked here, and man was I glad I did. Despite us messing around Tina and her team she was ridiculously helpful, tbh I’d have kicked us out after getting the numbers all wrong, but she couldn’t do enough for us and fed over 40 of us with absolutely top quality foot, superb portions, and everything cooked and served to perfection. And given the cost of restaurants in Ireland at the minute it was superb value for money for what we got. I can’t recommend it enough, especially if you have a large group who needs looking after.
