Isaac's is an iconic restaurant in the Victorian Quarter of Cork city. We went there for dinner. The ambience and setting is more adult oriented than other restaurants on Maccurtian street. We did notice that there were families.
The team was amazing. They are quietly present while being unobtrusive.
The space itself is gorgeous. We had a romantic evening and relaxed. There were people celebrating birthdays and other occasions.
They have cocktails and spirits available. They have a lovely selection of beers and wines available for those special occasions.
The toilets are wheelchair accessible. The space itself is wheelchair accessible.

La cena fue bastante buena; probamos los pasteles de pescado, sopa, sopa, plato de queso y curry vegetariano. Todo estaba delicioso y además el cheque fue sorprendente con 85 € para 3 personas y 2 platos cada uno. Recomendado!

Amazing restaurant, the world changed and the restaurants like Isaac’s just adapted so well, when the example from the top is good or very good the person in command in restaurant just let flow the business as normal and all the workers go with the flow.
Congratulations for amazing work.

Was there as part of a work do. 20 plus people so hat tip for accommodating us. Service was fast and responsive. Ordered the black pudding salad starter which was nice but the pudding a little undercooked (not crispy). Acknowledge this might be a personal preference but still. Ordered fish cakes as a main and they were not great. Dry and lacking seasoning. My co workers seemed happy with their mains. It's a good location but wasn't blown away with the food.

No estaba enojado con este lugar. Tenía sopa como entrada, que estaba bien. Tenía pollo para principal y eso era demasiado, todo estaba en una gran pila. Sabía soso. El personal era agradable. No volvería a ir

I had an amazing time here! The food is delicious but the staff are also extremely friendly, welcoming, and entertaining! They made an effort to sing for my friend's birthday party and even took some photos of our group on our request. Even though we stayed late, they never hurried us out and let us take our time! All of the food choices are fantastic, particularly the lamb curry and duck. I would highly, highly reccomend Isaac's!

For my father-in-law’s milestone celebration, he decided to visit his hometown in Ireland, and our first dinner happened to be at Isaac’s restaurant right in the heart of Cork.
The ambiance is cozy with a touch of sophistication, yet it is casual. We were seated right away, and we started with several appetizers to share, such as seafood chowder with garlic croutons and crispy fried Brie with chili jam and mixed leaves, together with a nice bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.
For the main entrée, my eyes caught the attention of mild Madras lamb curry served with basmati rice, poppadoms, and side dishes. I found it flavorful, and the lamb was tender and went well with the basmati rice and the red wine.
We had a great time here. The service was efficient, the staff are friendly, helpful, and patient, even if we stayed past the closing time. If you happen to be in Cork, this place is a must-visit.

We had an amazing dining experience at Isaac’s, largely due to the exceptional service provided by Luke. From the moment we arrived, Luke made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to our every need with genuine care and attention. The level of service was truly outstanding and set Isaac’s apart from other places we’ve visited. We highly recommend this restaurant, and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Luke, you're in for a treat!
