Italian Connection in Kilkenny

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Kilkenny. Friendly staff, good food and big portions. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is exceptional. Very friendly staff, very clean, open kitchen, nothing to hide. Chefs are extremely professional, every bit of the food you get is absolutely unbelievable. Pizza is made of Italian flour, real mozzarellacheese, parmezan is genuine, meat is tender and fresh. You can also get a draft Moretti bear. Tiramisu is delicious, ice cream is also top quality. I advise to book a table as this place might be pretty packed in lunch time or evenings. If you are looking for top quality meal, good Italian wine, Italian pizza all at affordable but luxurious atmosphere that's your go.

The restaurant and the service are okay. The food, however, doesn't taste particularly Italian. The gnogi and linguine were mediocre at best.

The steak here is just absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection and the sides that come, you can just tell all the ingredients are so fresh, there is not one bad word I can say, a 10/10 for the food and atmosphere!

Excellent, best italian food I've had in years. I live 2 hours drive away and I would drive back to kilkenny just to eat there again.

I loved the service, we ate the Lazanha and it was divine, I recommend the place.

The waiters here are all very nice. Food came very fast. Definitely ok the pricier side in terms of food price but the quality of food is good. I am giving it 3 stars though because the flavour of food was definitely not as good as other Italians I've been to. My friend had a pizza that tasted pretty average and I had a steak that was very nice but it came with roast potatoes that were quite hard and crispy and not flavoured. I'd recommend but not for the pizza :)

Fantastic Food,realistic prices and excellent service,the food was delicious,perfect portions,I would happily recommend to all and I will certainly be returning next time in Kilkenny
