Couldn't complain about the food absolutely fabulous staff so friendly

Packed on a party night in Westport. Great live music. Will go again

We just dropped in for a drink whilst exploring Westport one evening. It’s a traditional pub with a great atmosphere friendly people and live music. Good memories and a sense we experienced Irish pub culture.

Nice spot for a few drinks and a bit of grub. Was busy for a Wednesday night so you might have to reserve at the weekend.

Lovely meal. Fresh food and prepared to a very high standard. Service was brilliant. Only negative was the restaurant was uncomfortably warm.

Historic pub, live music, fantastic food

Atmosphere and food were absolutely wonderful! Our server Laoise gave excellent recommendations for dinner and was absolutely lovely. Locally harvested mussels were out of this world. Salmon was so flavorful and perfectly prepared. Guinness was spot on and the music was lively and entertaining. Eoin was an absolute delight! Highly recommend!

Good food, service glitch quickly fixed and unexpected comp, but fast food joint condiment packs cheapened the experience. Crowded, but fun place. Appeared to be well managed. Experienced wait staff. Our only caution to future diners is that condiments come in tiny portions contained in virtually unopenable plastic tubes. If you are able to get one open, expect a mess on you, table, and plate…. and forget about getting enough ketchup or mustard, or whatever for a real meal. You will get no mercy (and no usable cup of ketchup) from wait staff. I can tolerate ketchup in tiny plastic packets that splatter all over when I get cheap fast food hamburgers. But this is not a fast food joint and a hamburger and fries costs almost $25.
