Newly refurbished pub with outstanding food and service,went here for lunch and we were not disappointed. The pub has been Newly refurbished and what a job they have done!! The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The steak sandwich was cooked to perfection and the chicken wings were so tasty,would definitely recommend for lunch,great selection of whiskeys and beers available also,can see this pub doing extremely well under its new owner and management.

Great food and a great price. Able to handle large groups.

Ate there twice on our holiday in Westport and was brilliant food - great quality ingredients (had local organic salmon) cooked and presented superbly. Loved that it was in an atmospheric pub, with top notch stout! Thank you

Visited JJ O'Malleys recently while visiting Westport. I had accidentally made a booking for 5 people on the Thursday instead of the Friday night. While they could not accommodate us in the upstairs restaurant, Sarah went above and beyond to ensure we got a spot downstairs for dinner. She was the loveliest, bubliest person and we had a great evening thanks to her. The food was amazing also! Thanks Sarah!!

We were there on a Sunday evening and it was very busy. As we hadn't booked a table we had to wait an hour to be seated. No fault of the bar...

What a wonderful pub - it is so welcoming and if it’s a real Irish bar your are looking for this is it. The staff were amazing - the lady behind the bar was so friendly and Helen who oversaw the restaurant area was so helpful and excellent at her job. The food was great and the live music was so good- and of course the Guinness was amazing. Highly recommend if you’re in the wonderful town of Westport this Pub/ restaurant is a must.

I was where for my auntie's 60th birthday. A great place to meet up with friends.

We had a fantastic meal here last night. There was 11 of us and the food was excellent. The rib eye steak was the best I have tasted in a long time.
