JJ O'Malleys in Westport

I had the crab spaghetti and honestly I've been thinking about it ever since. White crab meat, garlic, chilli, parmesan, olive oil...maybe a bit of lemon? So simple and so, so good. Will have to come back to Westport just for that.

Lovely food. Great service. Great atmosphere.

Had a wonderful experience there. We Showed up bit late, hostess still sat us despite having a bit of a rough day. She was incredibly helpful and attentive. Servers were awesome.

We stumbled upon this bar and restaurant by chance. We were lucky. Very friendly staff, we were greeted and asked what we wanted. Since every seat was taken, which is always a good sign, we waited a while at the bar. When a table became available, we ordered food, starting with fish soup, the best yet. The burgers and fish and chips were excellent. The atmosphere was very nice. Later, there was live music, which was great and created a great atmosphere. What's important is the right balance between volume and quality.

Had such a great meal here during our honeymoon in Westport. All of the waiting staff were so friendly and made us feel really welcome, so thank you to them for that. The food was absolute incredible, every dish was 10/10. I had the seafood chowder which was easily one of the best I have ever had, and my steak was perfectly cooked with delicious chips. Cannot recommend this place enough, it must not be missed!

Decent spot. We had a Burger and Curry. Burger was OK but the Curry was good.

as part of a visiting group of friends in Westport for a few days we found ourselves walking into JJ O'Malleys on the off chance they would have a table free for dinner, nothing was a problem we got a table with in two minutes, the food, service and the Guinness was just outstanding . thank you to all the staff for giving us a great experience.

One of our favorite meals in Ireland! Staff was super friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! We sat upstairs so it was more dimly lit and private but the downstairs was more of your typical pub atmosphere.

Visited J J O'Malleys on our recent trip to Westport. On our first visit we had lunch and then drinks in the bar - the food was delicious with amazing portion sizes. We enjoyed the meal so much we actually ate here three times during our stay. The atmosphere in the bar is great with lovely staff. Special shout out to Annie who made us all feel very welcome. Definitely recommend here for both meals and drinks. Will be returning on our next visit.
