Sunday carvery 18.Aug 2024 Went into the Jockeys at about 12.30 place was spotless staff very welcoming l ordered the prime roast beef with all the trimmings wife had Chicken curry with rice and also came with lovely side of chips.Have to say best potatoes l have had in a long time and the cabbage was cooked to perfection all in all we had a lovely lunch which was served promptly and no fuss.We will be back.

Bar restaurant that we visited during our trip to Ireland!!!! We had a great time, we had a very warm welcome, the staff were lovely. Everything is perfect, you can go there with your eyes closed 😁

The food is delicious! There is a good selection in the menu. I’ve tried out a number of mains and I’ve been happy each time. The staff are extremely friendly as well. I’d definitely recommend here for food.

Met an old friend of mine while visiting Dundalk. We agreed Jockeys as a good meeting point . Staff were very good and looked after us well . Ordered fish and chips and got a huge portion . ( enough for two really ) . Its a popular Bar and we missed the main lunch time rush where a number of locals seem to go every day for a main meal . It was ideal for what we were looking for and prices are just about average . The manager / owner was on hand and has been there many years . We didnt see any Jockeys but the atmosphere was good .

03/11/2024: Really nice restaurant, decor etc. Food was nice however my fillet steak, which was a good size, was over cooked. I asked for med to well done but it was well done. There were plenty of waiters/waitresses about and service was quite quick however I was never asked if my food was ok as I was waiting for the opportunity to mention about the steak. The restaurant was busy and I would return again to give it another go. Back again, this time my sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and the service was very good. There were five of us at our table and everyone was impressed by the quality of the food and the service. Definitely worth a visit.
31/10/2024: I love the Duck :) and staff always friendly. Good point of Guinness as well:)

22/10/2024: Lovely restaurant/bar. Staff were excellent but table arrangements could have been better for tye function 😉
19/10/2024: Staff were clearing our table while we were eating and we were not offered dessert menu for a large group or made aware the kitchen would be closed when placing our orders shortly after 8pm when our main arrived and an additional side order of chips was requested unable to get it as cookers were off.
