From the minute we walked in and got our table the atmosphere was welcoming. Food was great and service was really good. It was actually a really nice enjoyable lunch hour.

Great little pub/ restaurant. We got a last minute booking for 4 of us and I had never eaten here before but I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the portions are huge. The service came with a smile and friendly chat even though the staff were clearly on top of their heads. I will definitely be back soon.

10/06/2026: I was delighted to be part of a group from Dundalk Food & Drink that visited The Windsor at the end of May, when we were treated to a showcase of the best food that the restaurant has to offer. I enjoyed my choice of a starter of chicken & mushroom risotto, followed by a tasty (and generous) hake tempura with saffron sauce. Marieta Rías Baixas Albariño 2024 and Segredos de São Miguel Alentejano 2023 were the wines on offer. A warm welcome and excellent service added greatly to our visit. 👏👏👏 to all the staff!

The Clermont

04/05/2026: Brought my parents and wife here today and this was a 5/5 start to finish. Everyone loved their own dish and the Baked Alaska was to due for at the end. Definitely will return again.
24/04/2026: We booked the clermont for a rehearsal lunch before a wedding. Aaron took great care of us, was super easy to work with and helped with any wishes we had throughout the process. The food was excellent. The portions were large and the quality was superb. The atmosphere was beautiful, we were sitting by the greenery in the classroom. Overall a 5/5 experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to dine, celebrate or hang out.
