Excellent treatment from staff, helpful immediately and friendly. The seafood chowder was great. Lots of fish,rich and I had trouble finishing it. If anything could be adjusted I would say less fish and more shellfish. Also they need a robust pepper shaker.

Great food in the heart of downtown killarney! Restaurant is a little small so recommend reservations but they were still able to accommodate us for a table for 2 without a reservation

This restaurant was recommended by a local tour guide. We ordered the seafood tower, which was filled with lobster, prawns, fried fish, two types of salmon, oysters, etc. It was a great value and a nice way to sample a variety of seafood. The service was great and the food was fresh and delicious.

31/10/2025: We made a reservation as getting a dinner place in town can be difficult, and the fillet steak and lamb shank were both very good, as was the service we received from the time we walked into the restaurant. If you’re looking for quality meat dishes and a less busy atmosphere I can definitely recommend this restaurant.
21/10/2025: Went to Kerry for a few days called into Murphy Brownes and it was top class lovely food and staff
