Lava Rock in Cahir

Food was so good, I only noticed after I ate that I had burned the roof of my mouth. Nice and quiet place for breakfast!

We stopped in for a quick snack. The wrap was delicious, the service friendly, and the ambiance pleasant. There's outdoor seating in the back.

It was a rainy day, but we sat outside in what they call “the shed” — far nicer than the name suggests — and they kindly served us from the restaurant side. We shared a chicken burger that was absolutely fantastic (so glad they served it whole), and I also had vegetable soup with brown bread plus a few glasses of white wine. Cozy, friendly, and highly recommended.

Based on the reviews we read, we decided to have lunch at Lava Rock Restaurant. Even before ordering, we found out that this outlet does NOT serve alcohol. A pity given the menu they feature. Anyway my wife ordered the Rigatoni Pasta and I took the Chicken Curry. Both dishes were simply excellent! We shared a raspberry cheese cake for dessert. Service was courteous and helpful! Krimo Birem our server even offered us to get us beer from the nearby pub!! Highly recommended!

We were at the coffee place and ordered a dessert to die for. Definitely will come back.
