We only popped in for a drink, and ended up staying the whole evening. It is a fabulous pub the music was great, staff brilliant and we met Vinnie who made us feel so welcome he was brilliant and such a laugh we really enjoyed ourselves. Mandy and Rod

Warm welcome nice cosy surroundings and spoilt for choice on whisky.The staff are efficient but not to the point they don't have time to chat. Live music is a must to see. The place has character (and as certificates state) nationally recognised for it. The frontage is well kept and you won't miss it as you walk around the town. Take time go in, sit down and I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Lovely pub nice cosy atmosphere. Great friendly staff. Good Guinness and good wine. Had a lovely evening here with great music . It was a damp evening so it was nice to be in a place that was warm and cosy.

Lowry’s you were unforgettable. We were in Clifden for five days and stopped in a couple times to enjoy the live music and a couple of pints. Can’t recommend it enough! Fun decor with lots to see and a good outdoor area.

01/01/2025: An absolutely fantastic hotel in all areas. My wife and I have stayed here a number of times and each time it never fails to impress. Food is amazing, the staff are the best around and the atmosphere there cannot be repeated.

28/12/2024: Great spot for a pint to watch a rugby match. Highly recommended.
06/11/2024: We popped in here on a damp evening in Clifden for a couple of pints before going on for dinner elsewhere. We sat in the front bar beside a lovely, open fire. A very interesting bar with plenty of signs and other paraphernalia to look at, including many assorted police badges. There were just four other customers in the bar during the hour we were there, all of whom joined in conversation. The owner popped in at one stage to say hello!
