Man Friday in Kinsale

Best steak in cork hands down. Great service, Definitely will be back.

My partner and I went to Man Friday on Valentines night and it was incredible! We were seated at a table in the heated patio over looking the long quay in Kinsale. We had the hot oysters, starter scampi, sirloin steaks and one sticky toffee to share, everything was genuinely 10/10. The staff were and always are super friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough.

An adult family of 5 had the Early Bird Set Menu here in the holiday season ... Delicious food served by polite and friendly staff in front of a roaring fire in a lively and packed atmosphere. Not cheap but actually good value for the quality. To be highly recommended. 4.5 out of 5

Special place for a special occasion.. Really great place here , top class in every way , great food , great service and fantastic location ( ask for a table in the courtyard) .. a little bit more expensive than most but well worth it .. Cheers 🥂

Went here to celebrate engagement with our extended family. Food was really nice but the service was very poor. Attitude of the waitress was very bad and felt we were inconveniencing her throughout the whole evening. Had to go to the main bar to ask for drinks because no one was coming to our table. Starters came out for half of our party and by the time we had finished it, the remaining starters came . Ordered sticky toffee pudding and mine was cold while others were warm. Ordered soup and garlic bread for a child and only the garlic bread came.

We had an early booking at 5pm as we have two young children in the party, we arrived and were seated, then we waited quite a while for the menus or drinks to be offered, there were no other ppl in the restaurant at this time, so we felt a bit neglected! Anyway, things improved after we asked for drinks, the set menu is excellent and good value as portions are good, the lamb on the separate menu was exceptional, delicious and cooked well, all the desserts were fantastic especially the meringue, kids menu standard fayre but arrived quickly which is important when you have a 6 and 3 year old. We had beers and Prosecco which wasn’t great as it wasn’t fizzy enough, probably due to the screw top!? Never had it like that before. Service was friendly and the food arrived in good time after the slow start, a beautiful setting and we would come back. A good choice for a date night too as the ambiance was lovely

Man Friday is the best dining experience to date of our Ireland holiday. A must for anyone visiting Kinsale. The risotto was fabulous and the meringue desert was top notch.

We found the food ok nothing spectacular. There better choices in Kinsale. The service was fast..never asked how our meals were or if we needed another cocktail . We opted to go elsewhere for dessert .

We didn’t have a booking and the staff were able to squeeze us in. The place was super busy so a booking would be recommended. The staff were super friendly. The service was super quick considering how busy it was. The food was amazing my partner says “it was the best soup he has ever tasted” and still hasn’t stopped talking about it. The restaurant itself was beautiful I had never been to a restaurant like it in Ireland and we visit a lot of restaurants. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Kinsale area.
