Murphy Brownes in Killarney

We made a reservation as getting a dinner place in town can be difficult, and the fillet steak and lamb shank were both very good, as was the service we received from the time we walked into the restaurant. If you’re looking for quality meat dishes and a less busy atmosphere I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Went to Kerry for a few days called into Murphy Brownes and it was top class lovely food and staff

Lovely restaurant in city center. Scrumptious food and impeccable service. I enjoyed everything I ordered for dinner. My duck skin was crispy and the meat was tender. My cole slaw was creamy and yummy. Definitely one of the best meals on my trip.

The Atlantic seafood chowder was fantastic! Don’t forget a pint of Guinness!

A classic pub with great food. We got a table on the top floor, so we were hungry and enjoyed a peaceful experience. Unfortunately, the noisy guests at the next table made the full experience impossible. However, the service was quick, the food was tasty, and the prices were bearable. We highly recommend it, just don't expect a quiet environment.

18:35 PM Monday and we got sat immediately (upstairs). The crowd here is not too loud but not too quiet either. We started our meal with the goat cheese tartlet which I highly recommend whether you like goat cheese or not. It's fantastic. I ordered a bottle of Spanish Crianza which went perfectly with the goat cheese and was recommended by our server, which BTW was excellent. Fast and to the point but not rushed. We then had the Hake with lentils which was cooked perfectly, and the 8oz burger. The burger is sourced locally and it shows, as it was absolutely fantastic. And the fries came with ketchup on the side; perfection. The Hake was perfectly cooked and softly fell apart as I pulled it with my fork. The lentils were fantastic and so were the potato wedges. I would highly recommend this place! You can't go wrong

Best Lambshank ever, Michelin Star standard... Our waiter James was super , very knowledgeable and made the perfect recommendation. MasterChef has nothing on this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My steak with the butter thingy that melts was bussin. Family says all the other food was very good too… only chopped thing was that the Guinness machine was broken.
