Murphy Brownes in Killarney

A welcoming place. Friendly staff, ready to meet the needs of customers. We went there on June 16, it was the anniversary of their opening (70 years) without booking and they immediately found a table for us. Excellent dishes especially the Atlantic fish soup, but also the hamburgers and salads. I recommend it

Good, hearty food, with great service and good atmosphere (if a touch dark inside). We had the spring rolls to start, followed by a burger and the lamb shank - the lamb is their signature meal, and was excellent (probably the best lamb my partner has ever had). Recommend

Lamb shank and lasagna were amazing, so flavorful and perfect portions. Homemade hummus to start was incredible and pb&j cheesecake was amazing too. Highly recommend!!

We ordered the roast leg of lamb with gravy and the marinated pork medallions. For dessert, we had cheesecake. Everything was delicious.

Murphy’s is a great restaurant, well worth a visit. While the prices are slightly higher than in some other places, the portions are absolutely generous, making it excellent value for money. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend this place!

Nos recomendaron probar murphy brownes en nuestro reciente viaje a killarney. Su calidad de la comida y el personal atento no defraudaron. Tuvimos las tartaletas de queso de cabra y rollos de primavera de pato para comenzar seguido de su tierna caña de cordero y delicioso pollo al curry para la red. Lamentablemente, estábamos demasiado llenos para probar cualquier postre en oferta, pero era algo para todos los gustos. Nos fuimos con vientres felices y buen rollo. ¡Seguramente volverá de nuevo en el futuro!

I am visiting from the states. I had an amazing experience and I wanted to share. The staff was incredible and the lamb shank was Devine. The meat was so tender and literally fell off the bone. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere. 10/10 will be returning while we are in Killarney.
