Quinlan's in Cork

Very good option to eat fish in Cork. Good service, and good food.

A very delicious seafood restaurant. Just make sure they make the food without wine. All the food is very delicious and worth trying.

A place where you can enjoy a variety of seafood dishes, a rarity in Ireland. The oysters were fresh and delicious. My group had a seafood chowder with a variety of salmon and whitefish, but mine only had salmon. The shrimp dish was similar to gambas, so it was hard to go bad. The monkfish wrap, a delicious lobster and potato mix, was also delicious. The wine was also good. Since it was a weekday lunchtime, there was no wait.

A great choice. We were walking around the area and, among the different options available, we were drawn to Quinlans Seafood Bar Cork (I admit I was eager to try the Seafood Chowder). As soon as we walked in, they seated us immediately and brought us a liter jug of water. Then we ordered the 1/2 Seafood Chowder and 1/2 salmon sandwich option (with a presentation and flavor as unique as it was special). I (who eats more) wanted to order a separate sandwich, and when the waitress told me it wasn't available, I asked if I could get a full salmon sandwich even though it wasn't on the menu. She was super helpful and spoke with the kitchen to arrange it. A 10 for waitress Ujiyaza. A great choice if you're in Cork and want to try traditional food.

There was a line for dinner. The only outdoor seating was cold, which didn't encourage you to order food to be savored at your leisure. They were out of mussels; we opted for fish and chips, but I've had better. In my personal experience, it's vastly overrated.

We made a reservation today and the waiter was able to move us into a cozy little booth by the front window. I ordered the seafood chowder as an appetizer and the grilled sea bass with seafood risotto at the same time. I was nervous about them coming out at the same time but they didn’t. About 10 minutes after I finished my appetizer the main course came out. Both were really hot and tasted amazing. Service was great and the food was also VERY good. Whoever made that seafood chowder isn’t paid enough money! Thanks again!

¡Increíble! Esta es una joya escondida. Hemos pasado por este restaurante en muchas ocasiones, sin saber lo que era hasta que nos dijeron que este era uno de los mejores restaurantes de mariscos de corcho. ¡Y sí lo es! Me animé a entrar debido al pez monje, pero decepcionado cuando leí que estaba en pan rallado panco, me hubiera encantado tenerlo en masa. ¡Tenía el pescado rebozado con patatas fritas, tres opciones de pescado, increíble! Los guisantes al curry, mushy también eran increíbles. Si el desastre comido para el desierto, nunca había tenido un desierto tan sabroso y suave. Definitivamente volveremos y habremos clasificado este restaurante como nuestro restaurante de mariscos para ir en Cork City!
