Ristorante Rossini in Cork

Came down to cork for a quick trip from Dublin and just had to try this restaurant. Alex was very helpful, with an amazing recommendation of the lasagna, couldn’t recommend this place more.

Florencia provided excellent service. The food was very friendly and the staff were great. We were very happy with our dining experience at Rossini.

The food is ok, but pasta dishes are a bit expensive on my opinion for what they serve. The pizzas are more affordable

We had a really nice dinner here with pasta and some wine. The pasta, Tris Rossini, was good and full of flavor. We had to wait a little while for the food, but it was worth it. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we were celebrating a friend’s birthday, which made the evening special. The only thing to note is that part of the floor seemed a bit uneven, and one of my friends almost tripped , it might be worth checking for safety. Otherwise, everything was great and we enjoyed our time here!

I love Italian food in general. My favourite restaurant is based in Rennes France. Restaurant Rossini rivals that restaurant if not overtakes it. Tge food was sublime.

Lady on meet and greet was so lovely. Seated immediately and given menus. Manager (I think) had to tell waiter to take our order as we were left waiting. Order taken, we got the steak and seafood pasta. Not long after food arrived. Absolutely outstanding I must say. Steak cooked to perfection, seafood pasta a jawdropping dish. That's where it ends, not once we're we checked on, we did want to get more drinks and an extra side but nobody to ask. I noticed our waiter had gotten his coat and rushed away after we got our food but I never saw him handing over responsibility for our table to anyone. Other two servers on duty looked after their tables very well. Such a pity an obviously excellent chef is being let down by careless front of house servers. I mentioned this all as we paid. I know how hard this industry is, as I work it also. But felt it needed to be highlighted as the price is not cheap and service should reflect this.

We were looking for an early dinner and happened upon Rossini. Both the food and service were good. The atmosphere is traditional Italian.
