Amazing local and best PUB in Carlingford. Saturdays disco upstairs with big beer garden/terrace and downstairs always nice friendly staff servings. High recommended this place amd I will be back soon to TAAFES 😎💥💥💥🍀🍀🍀🍀

Old world bar in Carlingford town. A lovely pint of Guinness stout is to be enjoyed in this old style tavern. I would recommend Taaffes just remember it is a cash only establishment.

18/01/2026: Lovely place, the roast was great so were the other dishes we had, the steak sandwich was insane as well, and the desserts were all amazing, the cheesecake specially. The staff is super friendly and the service quite quick.
17/01/2026: We stopped here for lunch. Excellent roast and breaded chicken breast. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service bron the staff. Open fire, so warm and welcoming.

31/01/2026: First time visiting and it did not disappoint. Beautiful atmosphere, attentive staff and exceptional food. 10/10 - highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.
31/12/2025: We came for my wife’s birthday. What a super little place. Good location for the town. Lovely, cosy atmosphere inside. The staff were excellent. And as for the food…. It was very good indeed. Everything we had was spot on. They even brought a candle out and sung Happy Birthday.
