Eggs were all perfectly cooked. The sourdough base they use for many of the dishes is really nice. The yogurt with granola and fruit was amazing (they really nailed a rather basic dish). Main dishes sat around 14-16 euro, with a few options under that. They serve a high quality coffee. They clearly put thought into the producers they use and list them on menu (a lovely touch). The lightning felt a bit jarring, but that would be my only complaint.

No doubt the best spot in Cork. Perfect for lunch, something for everyone on the menu. Coffee: Quality coffee and well trained baristas. Using real quality Irish milk. Food: Outstanding food quality, food prices are average and similar to other local spots, but you get freshly prepared food using amazing ingredients, small but well thought out menu, I've tried a few different items over the months and quality is next to non. Great spot for a soup and sambo, but their hot plates like eggs benny and crispy chicken burger are fantastic. Staff: The staff here are so professional, attentive and seem to love their job which says a lot about the management. Always greeted with a smile and the place is well managed during the busy lunch hours. Seems to be two Italian lads managing the place and manage it well. Atmosphere: The place is nicely but not overly decorated, is very clean with seating upstairs too. I come here most days for a coffee and whoever set the playlist deserves a raise, music here is always on point. Been a customer here now for about 6 months and the staff, consistency and quality is what keeps me coming back. I highly recommend.

Delicious freshly cooked food, we both got different variations of the chicken (cajun chicken burger and cesar salad) which was juicy and succulent. It's also very easy to book a table in advance, which I recommend, as it's a popular spot during lunch hour.

Went to The Bookshelf in the Elysian on Christmas Eve. Hadnt been in a while unfortunately but my it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful breakfast, coffee and the staff are excellent. There’s plenty staff on so you aren’t wanting for anything. Portion sizes are big and the food is quality. Highly recommend for brunch in Cork City. Thanks guys

Disfrutamos cada poco del tazón de falafel y la hamburguesa de pollo coreana, me perdí hacer clic en una foto de la comida, me encantó la presentación también! Y debo admitir que el café que tomamos fue el mejor que tuvimos aquí en Cork! Perfectamente mezclado! ¡Mi hija tomó una tostada francesa que felizmente engulló! El personal era atento y amable, sin duda volver a tomar café aquí de nuevo!
