My family and I had an amazing experience at the spa in Fota Island Resort. From the facilities to the treatment itself, I cannot fault anything. Amazing, and we'll definitely be back.

2nd time to stay at foto and I have to say I really enjoyed both times the place is beautiful and the staff are all so friendly but I have to give a special mention to Jose in the Amber lounge he goes above and beyond for people he is such a lovely friendly man and very professional

Great hotel .. went here with the family for 1st time!! Lovely welcome & staff. Food was good. Great standard in bar, lobby, amber lounge. Staff look happy to work there .. so much to do around the area

Beautiful 5 star hotel outside of Cork City. 10 minutes drive to Cobh . We went here for a birthday celebration and it was fabulous and very relaxing. Definitely worth a visit. Also the spa was incredible

After a busing Christmas we stayed in fota for 2 nights. The resort is in a great location, service was top class and the food could not be faulted. From the moment we stepped in we were made feel welcome. The door man Michael I think it was really made our trip. So welcoming every time and very helpful and informative.
We stayed in a double room. Very spacious. The bathroom is spotless and the cleaners did a stellar job.
We enjoyed our stay so much we extended for a day. The price quoted at reception was quite a bit more expensive than booking on hotels.com or bookings.com. We said this to them and they matched the price instantly. Very happy with all interactions.

5* doesn’t give this hotel justice. Top class service with Irish hospitality at its finest. Was there for 3 days with family of 10. Service was exceptional, standard was beyond amazing and place was spotless. Like with any venue the staff are the backbone and the making of the experience. Everyone person we met was lovely, personable and very professional. Will be back.

It’s the little things that count and In many of these Fota are failing. One of our party ordered a coffee and asked for a biscuit to accompany it but was told you can’t have a biscuit until after 4- how stupid is that! At dinner steaks were only offered ho share for 2 people- crazy! In general the food was fine but not fantastic and certainly not great value for money. If you charge top prices you need to deliver top class food!
Three times during our one night stay the room key failed to open the door which required another trip to reception for a new key. For a 5 star hotel this is simply not acceptable
Fota resort needs to up its game and certainly improve its F/ B offering so I’m afraid it’s only 3 stars from me
