The Fota Restaurant in Cork

The hotel is stunning, the rooms are cozy and the staff is great, the food is also very tasty. You can enter the pool and the facilities of the spa only by prior reservation and only for a limited time, and the pool is not really warm... I gave four but I would have given 4.5 stars because of the hours of the spa and beautiful rooms but quite gray and not colorful that I lacked a little color. All in all this hotel is quite safe to book from and enjoy

Lovely hotel, staff excellent. Delicious food and top class service. Highly recommend.

Lodges are good but not perfect. The water pump is extremely noisy and woke us during the night if any tap was used or a toilet flushed. The grounds are beautiful and well worth following a few of the marked walking trails. Amber lounge has good food but a small menu and for the second night dinner we struggled to choose what to eat. Overall, good but could be better.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service and nice food. Found a bit hard to organise around activities and spa due to need to schedule in advance. The smells around the hotel were nice but too strong, specially for migraine sufferers.

Lovely hydro therapy pool and steam room. The swimming pool is great too.

Great hotel in the middle of a park. Very tastefully decorated in all areas. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Absolutely recommended

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is incredibly friendly, always willing to help. It would be nice to have a squat rack with additional weights in the gym, as well as a steam room near the pool area - that's more specific to myself so not an issue by all means

Myself & my sisters took our mam away for the night for her birthday & Mother’s Day. We had a spa break booked in. We enjoyed all of it they couldn’t do enough for my mam & us. The meal on the Saturday was lovely. With the Spa the only downside was myself & my sister got a treatment & we were brought to this room to put the treatment on each other before we washed it off & going into the treatment was being done. 1st we each taught that someone was going to apply the treatment on us not we help each other. 2nd the room we were in had a glass door we could see out & taught nobody could see inside. We were not completely dressed. People were able too pass frequently men & women as the steam room was next to the room we were in. 3rd one off our other sisters passed & looked in & saw us. She opened the door & said ye do realise that the glass is see through. We were mortified and we still had to go outside the room to wash off our treatment in the freezing shower’s with no doors quickly before anyone else came & saw us. When the girl came we explained everything she was very apologetic. I wrote to Fota Hotel explaining what happened & to ensure it doesn’t happen to anyone else. but got no response. We enjoyed the rest of the night & I would come back to the spa but I be careful as to what Treatment room I be put into.
