The Helm in Westport

Booked a 2 night stay at The Helm Apartments on booking.com. It was a great stay, well equipped apartment, less than 5 min drive to downtown Westport or 15-20 min walk. Upon arrival for check-in the staff helped us to our apartment, was very friendly and ensured we had everything before leaving (baby cot). The free breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Parking is just across the street and was only a couple euros for 24 hours. We also had dinner at TheHelm one night, big portions and good food, you must make reservations at it’s a very very busy pub. We will be back and will recommend TheHelm to others when visiting Westport.

The pub atmosphere, nautical theme, food, Guinness and most importantly the entire staff at The Helm are awesome! Also recommend staying at The Helm Westport if given the opportunity. Super location. Thank you! Bob & Patty

Great food and lovely staff. Well worth a visit.

The Helm was recommended to us by a local business owner. Oh wow, it was an amazing experience! We arrived late in the evening and the place was packed! Luckily one table was awaiting for us :) we ordered our drinks, our food and waited very shortly for all. We were surprised as the place was full, food was tasty, fresh and very comforting! We returned the evening after ❤️

Top class place,food service absolutely brilliant Guinness is cracking so this ...great value for money to stay here ...staff are the best around so helpful go above and beyond to help ... highly recommend this place will definitely be coming back

Top class, lovely clean rooms, not sure if the morning breakfast was fresh but it was nice and incredible value for money all said. Highly recommend. Perfect location right by the water and taxis are easily got back into town centre at low cost.

Dropped in for couple drinks , lovely atmosphere & nice staff so came back the next night for dinner & it didn’t disappoint.

Busy venue. Through the door, seated and order taken, all within six minutes. Starters arrived and plates lifted ten minutes later. Same with mains. The food is good and the service is exceptional but…. Would love a slightly more relaxed dining experience! Food and service very good but would have had dessert and a coffee if it had not felt pressured. Definitely a must visit if it’s a quick bite of a delicious meal that suits.
