Fresh fish 🐟 & chips *not that hot 🫣 Beautiful generous glass of wine 🍷 Sat at the bar as there was no tables delightedto get in as I had j7st driven 3half hours .. Sean the owner was very accommodating finding me a seat 19 euros for fish & chips 😋 Waiting on dessert 🍨....

Reserved a table for dinner thinking we would spend the night there. When we arrived, was shown to several different tables eventually given a table in the middle of the restaurant which we were not happy about. We got the impression that we were being rushed out even though we had reserved a table that morning. We ate our food which was lovely then left immediately. We will dine elsewhere for the rest of our holiday.

We stayed for 4 nights in the apartments and it was absolutely superb. Can’t speak highly enough about this place. The owners and staff are top draw. Can’t do enough for you and the food. If you like fish you’re in for a real treat. Didn’t want to come home! Tracy and Alan ( Number 7, left Tuesday morning) Thank you so much.

Always a pleasure to dine here. Family run business. Food was good, as always. A few of the waiting staff need to be smartened up. Proprietors not there due to a family funeral - you could tell! Poor form from those staff who didn't make an extra effort given the family's bereavement!

Very busy spot so book your place. The food and atmosphere both excellent with friendly staff. Feels like a ship’s galley. Adjacent to Westport House and a 30 min walk from Westport centre. The quays are worth a visit .

Recommended by local taxi driver. Very busy so glad we booked in advance. Good portion sizes. Food tasty and priced on a par with other eateries.

29/11/2024: lovely pub the last time I was in this pub was 2009 on a stag I think the man that owned it then since past . lovely pub great friendly staff had a pint of Murphys and it was good . I will not leave it as long before I go back again. also met Pete on the Saturday.
26/11/2024: This was one of our favorite places as we drove around Ireland. When we walked into the smallish place, it was loud, busy, and a bit chaotic but it didn't take long to feel comfortable. There are about 10 tables in the main area, some outside seating and around 6 seats at the bar. They have about 7-8 beers and ciders on tap and a selection of bottles. They have a good menu with some specials. We got the bangers and mash (recommended by the waiter and very good) and some calamari. The plating was upscale and looked appetizing the moment it was delivered. It's conveniently located right downtown. We would visit again.

26/11/2024: Stayed two nights in Westport and we're so glad we chose Westport Woodfire. It was one of the best pizzas we've had on vacation. Very thin crust, crispy and chewy. The presentation was beautiful. The flavor of the crust was really good. It's a smallish place with about 14 tables. A good mixture of wines and beers. The menu is mostly pizza but they have other things, too, like apps, burgers and salads. Why would you get anything else? One person could eat a whole pizza if they are hungry. Very friendly and very clean. I loved being able to watch the chef make the pizzas as we waited for ours. Would definitely visit again.
