The rental unit was very clean and decent. Perfect location for visiting restaurants, grocery store, and elsewhere. The restaurant however is pretty lacking in terms of service and some food items not of best quality.

Not just in Westport, but one of the best places in all of Co. Mayo to enjoy fresh and tasty food. The quality is always great, and you can feel the care in every dish. It’s no wonder the place is busy at all times of the day. A real gem in Co. Mayo!

We had dinner here. The seafood platter was divine. We will definitely come back here. Service was excellent. Everyone so friendly and welcoming. Would so recommend coming here for food when in westport. The selection on the menu was sooooo good. I can't wait to go back and try more.

Excellent food, great friendly service. Food was out in a timely manner. Prices were very good too. It opens for breakfast and dinner. We had dinner and really enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is really nice. Even though it was busy. The whole premises is spotless. Staff we friendly and efficient. Would definitely return.

21/08/2025: Ate here twice during our stay in Westport. Food was absolutely delicious and very well presented. Big thank you to Amber who looked after us both nights.
19/08/2025: We just had dinner this evening. Very reasonably priced. We had a ceaser salad and chips, a salmon dish and a Cajun pasta dish followed by berry and apple crumble with Bailey's and brown bread ice cream. The girls were all so lovely. Glad we booked a table because it was very busy. We will be back again soon. Thank you guys.

Coast Bar

09/09/2025: Closing Jan 2026 for a 2 year refurb. Amazing as it is but it needs lots of tender loving care! Fantastic tours - highly recommended
07/09/2025: Westport House is a beautiful country house with an extremely interesting history. Guide Fionn is excellent when it comes to present its former owners and introduce you to the special rooms of the house. You should also stroll through the garden. Would highly recommend a visit (house might be under renovation for two years from now on!)
