Our first pub upon arriving in Ireland. The exterior was beautiful, the interior a little dated, but it felt like an Irish pub. The fish and chips were so good. I loved it. The sausages on the kids' menu weren't a hit, and the burgers were good. However, the beef isn't at all like in France; it's stronger and more compact. A good portion served. My partner really enjoyed the Guinness. We recommend it 😊

This is a great locals pub and restaurant just outside of the main part of Kinsale. It’s great to pop in here for a a bite or drink before or after doing the scilly walk. The food is great although service can be forgetful. Yellow walls, flowers, wood beams and dog friendly.

Went for dinner on Sunday August 3rd, party of 4 adults. Food was ok and prices reasonable. Toilets however we're a big let down. In this day and age grotty toilets are not acceptable.

The Spaniard is a nice restaurant with good food. However, the staff isn't very attentive. After being assigned a table, we waited 20 minutes to place an order, even though the restaurant was only at 40% capacity. After another 20 minutes, the food was served, but there was nothing to drink, not even water. After I asked for our drinks, we received our requested glass of wine. The staff should be a bit more attentive.

Friendly service, decent choice of food, good value for money for a touristy area.

I guess the inside part of this quaint pub inevitably misses the seaside atmosphere but unfortunately the food was pretty grim especially the tomato soup and crab claws.

We were really excited to have a toasty and pint but when we got there they said it was too busy to serve a toasty. We ended up getting calamari which was a 6/10, had a pint or 2. Service was ok and atmosphere had potential but was pretty quiet and just average inside. Would go back to try again but weren’t impressed. I didn’t have any pictures which says something

If you are looking for a traditional Irish pub you have to pop in, there is outdoor seating for the rare sunshine and they serve local craft ciders which are a treat.

Trident Hotel Kinsale

15/08/2025: Only qualm I had was parking. It was ridiculously crazy trying to find a parking spot. But the hotel was amazing, staff was great and professional... I would definitely recommend.
25/07/2025: A gem in the heart of Kinsale, The White Lady offers more than just a place to eat or stay, it’s an experience. Anthony is an absolute gent who truly goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The food is delicious. Great atmosphere that is lively, and full of craic. Whether you’re dropping in for a bite or staying the night, The White Lady delivers every time. Looking forward to going back!

23/08/2025: Really enjoyed the homemade lasagna. Kids cleared their plates! Friendly staff, but it's the little things that matter. Arrived quite early but we're still accommodated...plastic cups for kids (not a lot restaurants have them) so a proper kid friendly restaurant...great 90's playlist in the background and when I asked for a pint glass of Coke...I got a pint glass!
19/08/2025: We had lunch here after taking Barry Molone's walking tour. Very friendly family-run pub. Excellent espresso martini for the wife; excellent whiskey cocktail for myself. I did not like my seafood pie, but that's on me for choosing it. It was well made, it's just not something I would like, and now I know. The other food looked great. I had a couple of the wife's chips; excellent.
