After the English market in Cork whetted our appetite with so many different and delicious things, we came to The SpitJack to solve the stomach noise that was screaming at us louder and louder. Pleasant service and taking advantage of the last meal (we were the last to leave to eat) we pleased our stomach with a hamburger and some ranchero eggs. What can we say about that sausage and those beans…no words!!

The Spitjack is an outstanding eating establishment. The food is unbelievably delicious 😋. I had the salmon and cream cheese bagel. It came with vegetable soup and salad. Was so yummy in my tummy. I would highly recommend it. My daughter had the french toast with bacon, oh my god, paradise. Don't even think about not eating here. You will regret it.

Pretentious and definitely not worth the (expensive) price. Meat was poorly cooked and without any flavor, plus the waitress spilled wine all over the table.

Real quality ingredients with great menu options. Friendly laid back service and a nice welcoming atmosphere. Only reason not to make it a 5* is because pricing seemed odd between the two dishes we ordered. Full Irish breakfast included coffee and toast for €15, great value for the quality. Veggie Bap was also €15 but the tea ordered was charged at an extra €5.

Locale caldo e accogliente, arredato con stile. Menù molto valido, molto gustosi sia gli antipasti che i piatti principali. Sicuramente da provare se si capita da queste parti.

06/04/2025: The hotel is stunning, the rooms are cozy and the staff is great, the food is also very tasty. You can enter the pool and the facilities of the spa only by prior reservation and only for a limited time, and the pool is not really warm... I gave four but I would have given 4.5 stars because of the hours of the spa and beautiful rooms but quite gray and not colorful that I lacked a little color. All in all this hotel is quite safe to book from and enjoy

17/04/2025: Outdoor pool with the views of the Lee is very nice and relaxing. The food at the restaurant is very very nice, although pricy. The breakfast is good but the wait time on the orders from the menu can take a long time, but is worth it. The bacon was very greasy, uneatable I would say. Eggs are good, french toast is great and all the rest is good. Rooms are nice, could do with some new windows. All in all it was nice
16/04/2025: We did the "Afternoon Tea" experience which was well worth the price! Lots of anazing pastries and unlimited tea.
