Love this spot for breakfast or an earlybird. The service is usually swift and attentive and I have to recommend the Porchetta! Really good portion and gorgeous crackling. Extra gravy no problem. Easy to book online too if you need to make a reservation. The gluten free options are decent.

My favorite brunch spot in Cork. Come here often, friends and family always like this spot when I show it to them too. Lovely diverse menu, options for everyone, and the inside of the place just looks amazingly cozy too. Staff has always been good also. No complaints and definitely recommend! Do make a booking as it tends to get busy, especially on weekends.

This used to be my go-to brunch spot in Cork a few years ago, but my experience has been disappointing this time. We were ignored at the entrance for a while. When we sat down we ordered the huevos rancheros and the chicken&waffles. I'm sorry to say that the chicken was extremely dry, and the waffles, while having a good taste, were dry as well. Nobody checked on us for the whole duration of the meal and we didn't manage to get someone's attention to provide feedback at the time. The huevos rancheros, however, were very good and are saving the review from a lowest score

A varied breakfast menu, where everyone in our group got amazing food. Good coffee, vibes and music. Lovely staff, especially our lovely waiter Ash. Will come back.

Todo lo que probamos estuvo buenísimo. Desayunamos nuestro primer día en Cork y repetimos al siguiente. Servicio rápido y personal muy amable y atento. Especial mención a Isabella, que nos atendió estupendamente en español. Volveremos!

The Elm Tree

04/01/2026: Went to The Elm Tree last night and overall had a really great experience. The place itself was amazing. The vibes, seating, atmosphere and service were all excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant has a really lovely feel to it. I ordered the featherblade and it was honestly 10 out of 10. Absolutely incredible. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back because the food was genuinely outstanding. The only issue I want to mention is about menu transparency. When we arrived we made sure to ask if certain dishes contained alcohol as my boyfriend is Muslim and does not consume alcohol. We were told that the featherblade is cooked with alcohol but this is not stated anywhere on the physical menu or the online menu. While I personally do consume alcohol and still chose the dish I think this is something that should be clearly mentioned as many people may not think to ask and could unknowingly eat something that goes against their religious or personal beliefs. Aside from that everything else was excellent. Amazing food, great service and a brilliant atmosphere. Clearer menu information would make an already fantastic place even
