Great food and a lovely Christmas atmosphere. Doing well on New Year's eve with a full restaurant. Staff are very friendly and we were treated very well, as usual.

The White Horse šŸŽ is a fantastic restaurant. I had a perfectly cooked Angus beef burger. It was juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. The staff are polite and I will recommend this place while visiting Ballincollig and nearby areas.

First time here, Paul was am amazing waiter who added a lot of oomph to the dining experience. I would recommend here as a place to dine in. Worth the trip from Offaly, says a Tipp lady.

I cannot say enough about how good the food is and how friendly the service is. Once we entered through the door we were in another world with warm and smiling people , good music and perfect food . Thank you !!!

We always enjoy going to The White Horse. The food is excellent but it's the staff that make it. Paul looked after us this evening and made it a very enjoyable evening! Thanks to all the staff. We recommend to anyone visiting.

We were here for a family significant birthday. The food was really good, the service also really good. It was a lovely, relaxed afternoon. The only tiny quibble is that the restaurant wasn't open when we got there and didn't actually open until a few mins past our reservation time - on a damp March day in Ireland, not the best!

10/01/2025: Cold bacon. Barely warm breakfast. Breakfast was served very quickly but the problem with this is that everything is pre-cooked and then simply not kept warm. The restaurant wasnā€™t very busy and breakfast could have been cooked to order and Iā€™m sure it wouldā€™ve been delicious.
07/01/2025: The best and biggest breakfast I've had on this island. I can see why they've won so many awards.

19/01/2025: Service was excellent, our waiters Nick and another young waiter were very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was vibrant and busy, perfect for a Saturday night. The mussels with white wine sauce were some of the best Iā€™ve had in a long time, and the brownie and ice cream dessert was great. My only critique was that my monkfish main was nice but a bit bland, definitely needed a more flavourful sauce as the sauce served with it was a bit plain and didnā€™t compliment the dish
13/01/2025: Great experience, great food and super friendly and professional staff. The beers are also excellent. Place to absolutely try.
