26/02/2025: I visited this cafe a couple of days ago with a friend. Pleasant, cozy atmosphere, very tasty food, the size of the dish was impressive. Overall, I was pleased with this establishment. I recommend! The only point: it was noisy for me, but for Ireland it’s ok)

Food was scrumptious, portion size adequate & fairly priced. 07/02/2025: Ordered delivery from them several times, and each time the food has been excellent. The curries especially have been excellent. Good portion sizes, and the delivery was much quicker than expected!

03/03/2025: Overall Rating 6.5/10 TLDR: Hard / costly parking space Ambience is ok and traditional Food is expensive, portion size is small Unexplained portioning Hidden cost Prebooked for 10+ people. Approved within a day. Getting to the restaurant: The place is located at Blanch Village which is accesible by buses but we drove down. They only have 2 parking spaces reserved for staff, parking close to resto but the rate is very expensive or else will need to park at Supervalu, 5mins walk away. Seated straight away, the place was packed. The table was in some sort of room and the ambience is traditional but loud. On the food part, The menu has a variety of option and the staff were very helpful on guiding what each dish are. Prices for each food is pricy so taking this in to account. I went with a duck dish + fried rice and some starters ( rolls ) It took 10-20 mins before the food came. Now this is when it starts to get hectic. There were 10+ of us, one of us ordered extra fried rice, a bowl full of fried rice came which we thought it was only his as it was not mentioned that it is SHARED, we had the mains without the rice for 7 mins until they told us the rice was split. The receit then came that we actually had to pay for the fried rice even if the staff said its included Tbc

17/03/2025: Terrible experience! We waited 50 minutes for our momos, with no apology or warning. Starters and mains were also delayed, making it worse with kids. When we complained, the manager defended his staff instead of addressing the issue. No professionalism, no respect for customers. Extremely expensive for such awful service. Never coming back!

03/03/2025: I had the pleasure of ordering from Food Shala yesterday, and from the moment I saw the menu, I was drawn in. For my appetizer, I chose the Seekh Kebabs, which were absolutely succulent—perfectly marinated and bursting with flavor. They came with a generous portion of onion dressing and salad, adding the perfect balance. For my main course, I tried the Saag Chicken, a delightful dish of spinach purée stir-fried with essential spices, executed to perfection. The chicken was incredibly tender, easily a 10/10. This was served with naan bread and papadums, rounding out the meal beautifully. Overall, the food was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!

20/02/2025: Very nice restaurant and lovely lady serving me, good food and reasonably priced with good Indian menu, possibly leaning too much to non-indian cuisine to appeal to unadventurous Irish pallets. I have only eaten here twice and had hottest dish on menu being Vindaloo, which if you love heat isn't hot enough at all, but very tasty. I had taken away first time and dined in 2nd visit and service is professional, friendly and quick, no longer waits!! I would love if they "spiced" up their menu with the like of Kholopuri or other hot dishes, but I will eat here again and would recommend it to any Indian fans and as a nice, comfortable, good ambience restaurant.

01/01/2025: I didnt go got take away ,got to say they always had the bes curry ever. BUT today tried Tikka masala ,thats absolutely blown my mind. My new favourite !
