06/03/2024: The people that works there are very nice and understanding and the food is nice but sometimes it can be very spicy but I is very nice but I think they take a long time to deliver like it takes them 30 mins but is a 10 min drive but is good because they have very very good service

16/03/2024: Have went Chans over the years. Got a takeout earlier in week. Chicken dish- very poor. Mentioned tonight when I ordered that food was very poor Thursday night. When I went to collect confronted by an extremely rude waitress with a serious attitude problem.Basically showed me the container with chicken in it. I said that's fine but Thursday there was no chicken.treated me like a liar. Won't be going again. Dreadful attitude

21/02/2024: This was for years the best Chinese restaurant/takeaway in the area however of late the quality of the food has definitely dropping in standard. Pity because we like the front of house staff. We have not arranged family dinners because of the quality. On the last 3 occasions we have found the duck has been chewy and fatty a lot of the dishes just lost appeal, boiled rice has blackened the aluminium containers indicating its been in it for some time. The beef is tough and chewy. I hope the trend is addressed soon.

24/03/2024: Always get a takeaway from the Oriental and this is our first time having food in the restaurant on a busy Saturday night. We had the malaysian curry, chicken satay and duck cantonese and it was absolutely delicious!! Prices are reasonable, service was good, we will definitely come back again!! We've heard some people are complaining that they cannot order just a side dish for the table, well, this is a restaurant for meals and mcdonald's just 5mins walk from the restaurant for their better option.

23/03/2024: I booked my daughter and 7 other girls in for her 16th birthday. They were not allowed to order food they wanted. They were told they had to order a large main dish. Girls only have small appetites and they weren't allowed to order small portions or just chips, rice and curry sauce. The minute they sat down they were told 3 times not allowed to split the bill, which is fine, but kept hassling them...staff laughed at them when they didn't get food they wanted....very disappointing to have girls treated this way. To be told what to order is ridiculous, staff totally took advantage!!

02/04/2024: Honestly one of the worst chinese food places i have ever had. The crispy chilli beef was dry and hard. The noodles were dry and so awful. Delivery was also extremely late. Would never order from here again.

08/03/2024: I placed an order from Uber Eats last night worth £59... There were missing items. We called the restaurant 2 minutes after we received the food. The owner stated we called the wrong store and that it was closed and hung up. He said to call a different store. It was clearly a lie since we called the restaurant number 15 minutes prior for an update, which the same owner gave . Do you think we are stupid? Before the owner gives his favourite sentence, 'ordered from a different Lee Garden Oriental Express,' here is your proof, sir. Its not nice to lie.
