The best restaurants in Cork

27/09/2025: Lovely bar in Shandon Street with great stout. Cosy areas with a few stools at the bar. Esther is brilliant and really nice to chat with. We met a good few friendly locals in the bar who were great to speak to. We will definitely be back in again.

31/05/2025: Watching the champions league final here, great staff, great regulars, great prices. The best bar I've been to in cork. 5* is not enough praise, thoroughly enjoyed my time here. 🍀

21/03/2025: Where have Sicilian Delights been all my life! Went to the Marina Market yesterday and asked for a Takeaway Lasagna. The lovely lady behind the counter packaged it all up for me. Gave me extra sauce in a cup and cheese with the reheating instructions on top - it was beyond divine and I'm a lasagna woman anywhere I see it (I'm on par with Garfield). It was so beyond my expectations - I'll be back for more every time when I'm in Cork every few weeks. The chef needs a pay rise for that quality of food!

01/02/2025: The pasta was great here before they changed the menu. They have now upped the prices from €9 to €13 & reduced the portions. It is no longer fresh and now they serve a reheated pasta bake. Very disappointed 😞😞😞

30/09/2025: I was going to dunnes hoping to grab a coffee from the coffee machine within dunnes and have in cafe only to be told rather rudely I can’t be in there even though I have a cafe sol coffee same blond woman then went to the door and refused entry to anyone not buying from the cafe area although people across from me were doing the same and nothing was said very dissatisfied in this particular staff member located near Dinos dunnes

06/08/2025: Absolutely love this cafe! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of cozy seating and bright natural light. My cappuccino was smooth, rich, and beautifully presented by Martyna and the banana bread is always fresh and delicious. The baristas here always greet you with a warm smile and you can tell they care about every customer that walks in. It’s rare to find a place with coffee this good and the best staff behind it all!

20/07/2025: Loved our visit to Brendan's Burritos & The Black Market with a group from our summer camp. Everyone had a great time and loved the atmosphere/ venue. Fantastic service from the Burritos Staff, especially looking after a big hungry group. Nachos and Quesadillas were fab and great for sharing. So fresh & tasty! And then the best surprise of all.... Amazing Milkshakes for dessert. Will be back!!

19/07/2025: Lovely staff but food was disappointing. No veg, sauces were bland, meat was over cooked. Tucos is the standard.

26/11/2025: Aisling was an exemplary employee, and helped me sort out a beautiful artisanal collection ylof chocolates. Without her help, I would have been lost in the simply sumptuous sea of chocolates.
