17/11/2024: A really nice bar and great food. Only complaint was that the service was uncomfortably fast. No sooner had we ordered, then our starters were presented- and again, as soon as we finished them, the main course was delivered. I like a gap of 5 to ten minutes between courses - for me it creates a more relaxed and enjoyable evening - after all it is a treat that should be savoured. Loved the lamb quesadillas to start and the fish burger for my main course was lovely - really tasty. Reasonably priced too.
27/10/2024: Friendly place with a different menu than other pubs. Nice change.

06/12/2024: Couldn't travel on our selected day due to a red weather warning, stay was fully paid for, 2 weeks on, being ignored on reaching a resolution regarding this.
24/11/2024: Gorgeous views, great staff, lovely food all in an ideal location. I have stayed a few times over the years and am never disappointed. Thank you. P.S. it’s just as worthwhile in the off season!

04/11/2024: The food was very good, what I liked most was the service, attentive and fast. Maybe when I went it wasn't the best day because there weren't many people so it was very quiet.
The site has incredible views. Perfect!!

29/10/2024: Loved this place so much I will be going back as soon as I get a few days off. The oysters from Sherkin were honestly the best I’ve had ever. I was staying in the hotel attached to the restaurant and the breakfast room is actually probably the nicest place I’ve been in. Staff so friendly and just overall brilliant place. Can’t wait to go back.
28/10/2024: Four of us had food here, soup to start, chicken noodle, so tasty, then mussels, gorgeous cod, pizza, bread and proper chips. Fantastic food and relaxed place.
