The best restaurants in Baltimore

20/02/2026: Fast and friendly service as we were early in the day but food very disappointing despite recommendations from locals. Tacos were tasty (although too salty for my taste) but fish and chips was tasteless frozen fish. Mac and Cheese was tasty but very small portion. Almost €9 for a very slim slice of bland key lime pie didn’t help for dessert

22/02/2026: Fantastic suite number 30. With the best view of the bay and the shipwreck. The breakfast was magnificent. Black pudding and white pudding. A full Irish breakfast is a must. It was great that we got a score card for the road. The best I've ever had. Thank you for the perfect start to our honeymoon. We saw two Baskin sharks feeding from the cliff.

21/02/2026: Great bar and restaurant with the beer garden in the back great on a sunny day. Hiwever, I wasn't blown over by the seafood chowder the last time. It wasn't that creamy like im used to, it was more watery than anything.

31/10/2025: There's nothing like a pint outside here on a summer's day, or a lovely pint by the fire in winter time. Lovely pub, great bar staff.

23/06/2025: We had a rather mixed experience for dinner. When making the booking I had requested a table around 7pm but was told there was a big group coming in at that time and we could only be accommodated at 6pm. When we arrived we were the only people in the restaurant and when we left it was still very empty. We were seated in a section of the restaurant on our own which meant the atmosphere was unfortunately very lacking. The food was good but not fantastic in my opinion; the vegetables in particular were over cooked and mushy (courgettes and peppers) and the potatoes were just ok. There's beautiful fresh produce in West Cork, particularly in summer, and it was shame not to see this reflected on the plates. The fish and venison which we had were very nice. The location and grounds are beautiful.
