03/07/2025: Planned to eat elsewhere but saw this place was open so decided to try it and very glad we did. Excellent food and a lovely bottle of wine. Service was outstanding, will definately return.
30/06/2025: Very fancy and tasty food, albeit a bit expensive. My sibling as usual ordered too much and couldn't handle the doubled up burger.

27/07/2025: A great place. We stopped there for a delicious and hearty breakfast. Fantastic coffee, reasonable prices, and very friendly service. Thank you to the lady from Kaszuby for taking care of us. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable, with a portion enough for even the most hungry. 👍😎 Ryszard
22/06/2025: It's a charming place. We were served in a very friendly and welcoming manner, even though there were eight people and service can be complicated, all the dishes came out at the same time. I shared a dish with another person, and when I told them, they brought us two individual plates with the shared dish. I thought it was a nice touch. As for the food, it was very good. I especially recommend the cheese and beetroot focaccia. It was perfectly balanced and flavorful. The Schnitzel was very crispy and juicy. Highly recommended for a leisurely meal. Thanks to the #cracked... bistro team for their service :)

11/07/2025: I have eaten here many times and have always found the food, the atmosphere and particularly the staff very good. On this occasion, the staff as always were lovely but I was extremely disappointed with the choice of dishes for coeliacs/ gluten intolerant diners. I decided to opt for seafood chowder as my main course as there were no gf seafood options for main course and the chips are not gluten free. The chowder was ok, but what was so disappointing was what was clearly basic shop-bought bread served with the chowder. The gf sliced pan was toasted. A real own goal for a restaurant that sells itself as a Seafood restaurant and charges above average prices. I chose roulade for dessert which was quite good, but did not make up for the well below average starter that I had to choose as a main course.
10/07/2025: The food is as beautiful as you could hope for, I had an Indian curry, but I was afraid it might be to hot, and the server said I could try it, and if it was, she would get me something to add, but it was lovely, and we had dessert and coffees, and they were lovely as well, definitely will call back sometime.

21/08/2025: Had the pleasure of ordering a large number of pizzas from Oak Fire back in July. Our scout troop had just come down from climbing Carrauntoohil, with the late hour and everybody being exhausted, we decided a pizza night was in order.
The guys at Oak Fire stayed in the restaurant after closing so we could collect our pizzas after driving back from Kerry.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the pizzas were terrific. There are small gestures that go a very long way and we are very thankful to to the team.
Heartily recommend.
20/08/2025: We only had take out. My pizza was good. My daughter, who has food allergies, had a gluten and dairy free option. She thought hers was really, really good. The best Pizza she tasted on our trip to Ireland.

10/06/2025: Went here for lunch Sunday with my two children. Tried the carvery which I have to say was very nice. My children ordered Goujons and Chips from the Kids menu. In fairness their portion size was good but they did not like the Goujons themselves. I tried a piece of one and I found it to be a little tasteless. On a positive note the waitress who served us was lovely and great talking to the kids however the the person serving the carvery was engaging in a very loud conversation with other staff and using colourful language. My children noticed this and were a bit upset talking about it afterwards. While this language is probably acceptable for a bar setting on a Saturday night it was inappropriate in front of children and really unprofessional for someone serving front of house. So a mixed bag really. Good solid Carvery and lovely waitress but disappointing kids food and an unprofessional member of staff.

Would recommend this restaurant as they are very efficient and the food is delicious!!!

18/07/2025: I ordered a fish and chips from the Bandon van I can tell you the fish was tasteless it tasted like water the chips I don’t understand how people eat those chips they are rock I also waited 20 min for a fish and chips they where probably defrosting the fish they had no orders when I ordered she’s Evan asked me do you want tha deal of the day fish chips or do you want the big one I got the fish chips cost me 16 euro it was pure I couldn’t eat it had to go in the bin that fish is not fresh is frozen fish
17/06/2025: Where do I start honestly
Pizza was single handedly the worst I've had it's not even a pizza dough, waiting 15 minutes to be told they didn't have the toppings for the pizza. 40 minute total wait for the pizza on a quiet Tuesday night.

06/03/2025: I recently ordered from Apache Pizza, and I was very impressed! The pizza was of great quality, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the excellent service I received from Alina. She was incredibly nice and helpful, making the whole process smooth and pleasant. I'd definitely recommend Apache Pizza in Bandon, and a special thanks to Alina for her fantastic service.
