We hadn't booked, and it was a holiday without our knowledge. Despite everything they made us sit at the counter and served us a glass of water with lemon.
Fresh fish and cooked very well. The shrimp were clean. Delicious garlic bread. Nothing to say I would go back immediately. I give four stars to the food only for the pasta which was overcooked. But clearly I didn't expect more, I got that dish just for the prawns. I highly recommend it.
22/03/2025: Popped in on a recommendation this evening. Simply amazing place. Superbly run. Food excellent, staff excellent. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a manager actively training and coaching his staff on the job in a calm annd productive way. Also listening to longer standing staff encouraging and aiding new staff. Honestly you should all be very proud of what you are doing. Food was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

27/03/2025: Had a really lovely lunch today with my sister. Food was excellent. Starter potato skins were really good as were our main courses of prawn and veg curry. Welcome and service top class and definitely will be back and will certainly recommend this place to family and friends. Delighted also to learn today that there is live music weekly and a function room upstairs catering for up to 80 people. Well done to all. A great experience. Thank you.

07/12/2024: This is really good Chinese, always great. They have a long wait for a takeaway though, on Saturday I had to wait over 1,5 hours from ordering to getting the food, usually between 30/40 min ... still giving 5 stars because the food is always great.

29/10/2024: Bring back the Ronnie sicks 😫. A Base with garlic cheese and covered in tiny pieces of pepperoni, they were the best thing on the menu before the bean counters got a hold of the business. The four seasons pizza 🍕 was also a treasure. Only those at the beginning of Oak Fire Pizza journey had the privilege of tasting that beauty. 😋 Go on, Ronnie, bring them back, ya legend. From the couple who were always in, in Clonakilty and Bandon branches.
