15/02/2025: I was there for a 50th birthday party, but I have had many a meal there before, and was allways happy with the food I got, good wholesome food, at a good price.
08/02/2025: Went here for dinner with my boyfriend yesterday. The staff were warm and welcoming, as was the homey vibe in the restaurant, I believe they also have accommodation there. Bandon is a lovely area and I’d love to come back there for Copper Grove

23/11/2024: Had a sirloin steak and chips. Really poorly presented on the plate. Steak was not of good quality. The chips were raw in the middle. Was like trying to eat rubber. Brought it to the waitresses attention as I didn’t eat them. She took the plate and went to the kitchen and never came back with a reply. Charged for the full meal and no apology. Hence I’m guessing the reason why the place was empty on a Saturday night. Poor show. Not good enough.
23/10/2024: Really nice food, unpretentious and very tastefully put together. The fish and veggie dishes we tried were very nice and the desert too. Would highly recommend.

07/12/2024: This is really good Chinese, always great. They have a long wait for a takeaway though, on Saturday I had to wait over 1,5 hours from ordering to getting the food, usually between 30/40 min ... still giving 5 stars because the food is always great.

15/01/2025: Great café in the heart of Bandon. Good GF options. Great service and great buzz about the place as well. Highly recommend a visit.
03/01/2025: Some staff looked under serious pressure. A lot of older people sitting alone, made me sad. I wonder could they be matched up at the same table (with consent) so they could chat and feel less lonely. Brown bread was one of the best I ever tasted in my life.

29/10/2024: Bring back the Ronnie sicks 😫. A Base with garlic cheese and covered in tiny pieces of pepperoni, they were the best thing on the menu before the bean counters got a hold of the business. The four seasons pizza 🍕 was also a treasure. Only those at the beginning of Oak Fire Pizza journey had the privilege of tasting that beauty. 😋 Go on, Ronnie, bring them back, ya legend. From the couple who were always in, in Clonakilty and Bandon branches.

15/11/2024: Bingo on Wednesdays, trad most Fridays, first class live music on Sundays. Great home cooking by Evelyn. Missing Brandy, the lovely sheepdog who crossed the rainbow bride this year.
22/06/2024: If you are in County Cork do yourself a favour and make the trip to Bandon for a drink at Kilmartin Bar.
I was looking for an Irish Pub and found a good place for a Beamish and a chat .. the locals are LOCAL and that is always the way to find out what the local "craic" is .. a great afternoon watering hole.
